A tough old shepherd woman who lives near the outskirts of the woods. Very much a "cool grandma" character, and a longtime friend of Maloran. She's also an experienced magic user, and acts as a magic mentor to Runa. She was also involved in the great war, although not as a fighter- rather as a healer and courier. Though initially on the opposing side from Maloran, she quickly understood that the reason behind the war wasn't as noble as people had been told, and started working with both sides to try and lower casualties. Unfortunately there wasn't that much only a few people could do, and no peaceful solution was found in time. Shep did her best to give up fighting in favor of a quiet life, but she'd be quicker to pick it up again than Maloran, if it seemed necessary. These days she lives alone with her sheep, but still enjoys company.
