Sporði

    When Sporði was a normal sailor, he miraculously survived two devastating shipwrecks. The first could be passed off as a mere coincidence, but the second? This triggered rumors, some blaming him for the fates of both ships. He was thus marked as a "Jonah". Sporði soon was no longer welcome aboard any ship, as his reputation preceded him. Eventually Sporði, desperate to return to the sea, simply walked into the water and never stepped foot on land again. He now haunts the seas as a vengeful phantom, dooming any ship he appears upon.
