Brandy Arden

Brandy is a unicorn who's kind of a classical RPG mage, in that her magic is powerful, and focused on destruction. As a child, she was very much a hothead, both literally and figuratively, and didn't have much of a solid grasp on controlling the powerful destruction that she was capable of. After injuring her sister to the brink of death, she was pseudo-exiled from her home and taken to a temple where she could learn control and temperament. Years later, she returns to her family, completely forgiven for any pain she caused. Her sister in particular had missed her terribly and felt like she was to blame for Brandy's exile. While Brandy had returned home to her family, she never felt quite at home, and maintained something of a cold distance, acting as a bodyguard for her high profile parent. 

Nowadays, she's a total sweetheart, quiet and polite, maybe a bit detached, but very loving and kind on the inside. In addition to those aspects of her personality, she also has a fiery, violent rage deep down inside. Thanks to her training, she's able to easily keep that part of herself under control, and has channeled it into (very successfully) protecting her friends and family from any threat that might arise.
