RELATIONSHIPS: Emery Lawrence (Enemy)
BACKSTORY: Penny was born in 1928 into a very poor family, but this never affected her desire to become a star. If anything, it made her want it more. She started modeling at age 13 after a photographer showed interest in her. For a short time, she had a bit of fame, and her family was able to support themselves. Soon, Emery Lawrence, another child star, replaced her and was seen as America's sweetheart. From this point on, Penelope has despised her, and her career has gone nowhere. At age 27 (1955), she was starring in a production that seemed quite shady, but she ignored this. The "director" was a vampire, and he took advantage of Penny's naiveté, biting and turning her. For a long time, she had no idea how to handle her new situation. She was broken. Her dark brown hair began to fade and become a light rose color, her beautiful skin was paling, and her body seemed to be decaying. Her personality's revival came about when Emery Lawrence had her first scandal, and it became her mission to become to most famous and desirable woman in the world, surpassing her enemy. She started to love her changing appearance, and her self love quickly turned into an extreme case of narcissism. In her eyes, vampirism was the best thing that ever happened to her. Unfortunately, she's remained a failing star. But knowing that she has all of eternity to make it big, she isn't doubtful that it'll happen one day.
LIKES: Her absolute inability to gain any weight at all! / When people recognize her in public (this has only happened a handful of times, and each time was about her work as a child) / Knowing that Emery Lawrence will eventually grow old and ugly
DISLIKES: Anyone who calls themselves a fan of Emery Lawrence
STRENGTHS: She's very physically strong despite her fragile-looking frame, which makes it easy to underestimate her
WEAKNESSES: She is suffocated by vanity...it takes over her life. / She has OCD, and gets extremely anxious if there is anything out of place, especially when it comes to her appearance. / It's common for her to gag while killing someone...not because she can't stomach murder, but because she's never gotten over her horrible sickness at the sight of blood. It grosses her out, but damn it tastes good!
TRIVIA: It is her ultimate desire to become a famous moviestar. It is the only thing she wants, but unfortunately, no one else seems to think she can do it. Her failure to fulfill this goal depresses her often. / She hires photographers to take pictures of her just so she can autograph them for herself...unfortunately, due to her vampirism, she doesn't show up in any of the pictures. / Her worst fear is that everyone will find out that she's a vampire and kill her....or worse, not like her!!!
