Originally just an Undertale Au for San, R00ts has come so far from his first concept art a few years ago. While his original concept and design remain connected the fandom Rene exists separate from any fandom and remains an original concept despite his connections to R00ts. I have made countless alternative design for both R00ts and Rene because I adore all the endless possibilities Multiverse hold and I will try and cover some of the basic of all the main designs. .\\ R00t\Tale✦

.\\R00t\Tale is an alternative universe based on the game, Undertale that I designed a couple of week after really getting into the fandom. While I haven't had much time or energy to flesh out his cannon story line I have had a lot of fun exploring other designs, au's and even roleplaying my creation on discord. The name itself is a spin on the computer term 'root directory' which is a special filing system and while I originally just thought it was simply a cool name a quick google search helped me learn more. I mere just decorated it with some zero's instead of 'o's for a more... binary appear I suppose.

Appearance wise R00ts is a skeleton, his naturally height is 4"11' however he sometimes enjoys cheating and making himself anywhere between 5"4' to 5"7'. His cannon attire is a blue and yellow long coat, done up with a front flap and buttons with a large collar that generally sits up and/or out. Beneath this unique styled coat he wears a simple white dress shirt which is rarely shown off sadly. He has blue-gray jeans which he tucks into a nice pair of brown boots which match his brown gloves. Of course the cherry on the cake, and his signature item('s), have to be his goggles and translusive scarf. While the goggles have the purpose of protecting his eyes from a somewhat risky gift of his screens the scarf just looked cool. It's ever so slightly transparently, tinted blue and glows with a matching soft blue hue. 

Combat-wise he is very limited, not being very strong to begin with and having a rather low attack stat to really do much damage however he counters this with a number of other defensive and buff-like abilities he possesses. What R00ts lacks in the offensive he makes up for in the defensive using his blue screens for mobility and defensive purposes.

R00ts has the start of a comic which can be found here but I might also post in a sub gallery when the pages are updated.

✦ Underlodge

Underlodge R00ts is the version I roleplayed on discord in a server called, well, Underlodge. He's a much more domesticated version, having found a home and made himself a family with the God of Death, Reaper!Sans. Reaper of course belongs to the lovely Renrink but he was roleplayed by my partner lulubelleluna. His profile is still not completely updated but I have briefly explained his life so far under his respected tab.

Undervacation ✦

Much like Underlodge R00ts, Undervacation was a server I made for a particularly version of R00ts we call FR00ts which was sort for Future R00ts. Originally this was an accurate term as there were a version played beyond the cannon of his roleplayed version back before he moved into the Lodge. R00ts use to live in a town called Undertown which sadly didn't work out as planed. Undervacation was their backup plan. A safe universe made for him, his family and anyone else who might have need a vacation! FR00ts basically because an alternative of Underlodge who didn't managed to find a new, safer location to live. A more in-depth overview of his life will one day be written on his respected tab.

✦ Rene

Rene, the name given to any fandomless adaptation of R00ts. Originally he was only a story lulubelleluna wrote which then grew into a more... domestic dad with an overlarge and happy family. Of course there are other, less happy, versions of this too which will be explained in his respected tab but about a year or less after the first version of Rene was made I made a version that more closely resembled R00ts cannon story, simply known as the Magical Rene. I have explore alternative designs of Rene, based on the alternatives of R00ts as well as some more original designs. Their respected tab (here and here) will explain everything you need to know about Rene eventually. This is a large and ongoing project and there is a lot to cover.

Himedere ✦

Hime is... something else. Original design as a joke based on a silly little generator me and my friend's could not help but explore Dere types with are characters. R00ts ended up as a Himedere. One day I will get around to working over her respected tab but until there she will remain a mystery and a mistake I will never forget.

✦ ADMIN

A few weeks after I had started roleplay R00ts this monstrosity was made. Simply known as ADMIN or ADMINISTRATION he is a virus code created by R00ts. What make him so nasty is there there is only one true instance of ADMIN spread across all versions of R00ts, even Rene has his own. The only exception is domestic Rene (and possibly Hime) since there was no logical way incorporate such a thing in modern. splice of life universe. ADMIN things very logically and sometimes too logically while struggling with any sort of emotion and even social interactions. He is very easily sway between doing what is good and what he things is good. Think of him as a child with to much power to bare.

It is possible for ADMIN to spread to other people HOWEVER only I can play him and only if they person who is being infected agrees. Consent is key, like when you pc or laptops ask if it is okai to install something. Everything he does comes down to curiosity and learning and the only reason he strays is because he struggles with morals and emotions.  When I get around to making his respected tab I will probably rewrite this but until then this will hopefully explain ADMIN. He can rather... difficult to understand.

While ADMIN has not solid body he does have a form which was designed for him however mostly he uses the body of people he infects.
