 Iocheaira sees herself a stepping stone to a better world for all of mage-kind. Believes strongly in mage separatism, though she hides behind a (once hopeful, now skeptical) façade of desiring peaceful coexistence between mage and non. 

Her sophistication serves to smooth out her tougher traits, being that she is ruthless. The reality of the world crushed what fragile hope she had, and brutality barely makes her bat an eye. Her own hooves are stained with her many sins. 

Born with the incredible ability to grant small blessings,  Iocheaira's distinguished family was pleased to have another Wish-Granter born to their line. Sent to Namarast more out of it being "the thing to do" than any real desire for magical tutelage, Io's real lessons were in respectability politics. She honed her magic dutifully in her schooling and came out in the end as a recruiter for Namarast, going and seeking wild mages to ask them to join the order.
