The epitome of the "flower child" stereotype, Ellis is a genuinely good person through and through. They're friendly, loving, generous, wistful, and quite naive. Sort of in a perpetual childlike state of looking at the world; full of wonder, possibility, and everyday magic. They see their greatest weakness - being born without a mouth - as their hidden strength, as it's allowed them to really tap into the meaning and their interpretation of what being understood means, through art. Ellis grew up in a bilingual household (Mandarin and English), but learned Spanish as another way to express themself. They really try to pour their emotions into their art, which is why painting, poetry, and weaving are their main mediums.

- They have no mouth so they can't eat or speak. However, they are fluent in American Sign Language and can read, write, and understand English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
- They can fly/hover for short distances for a short time, any kind of sustained flight would require more energy than they can produce.
- Their primary source of income is weaving the silk they produce themselves, though their passion of painting is what they aim to share with the world.
