Joe is not the kind of person to go out and tell people about his story since he's ashamed of how "weak" He let himself be. However, it is still a story that must be told to certain people

Joe was a very feared dragon. He lived in a flooded cave a small ways away from the newly formed city. Often he'd go and steal Millions of riches from the locals or the unfortunate souls that happened to walk too close to his home. He was an unforgivable force to be reconded with, so he was left alone. After a bit, his home did tend to get crowded by all the riches he’d stolen.

Finding a fool that’d entered Joe’s cave, he wouldn’t have expected to be stuck with this man for the rest of his life. Little did he know that this wizard would go on to cast a powerful love spell. This spell was powerful enough to overpower all past thoughts or feelings completely. Joe would be absolutely obsessed with this stranger for centuries. He’d follow this man to the ends of the earth and this man would do nothing to stop Joe. They’d get married and live together somewhere along the line.
Current day
After centuries of being madly in love with a man named Samuel, the love spell that’d taken over his life would start fading. This spell was made for simple mortals, Joe had started growing out of it considering his natural life span. Joe would slowly start to see through Samuel’s lies and false promises and start trying to drift away from this man he once loved. These two would get into horrible fights. Eventually, after a sour enough night, Joe would leave. Not looking back he’d abandon his belongings, the house he once loved, along with the man he’d sworn he’d love till death. Joe would rather die now than be forced to love that man again.
