Antonov

Antonov is a professional assassin in the year 2140, when New York is its own sovereign nation under a constant power struggle between warring mob factions.  Not held back by moral reservations and constantly in debt, he makes especially sure to hit his target every time.  He is plagued by insomnia, which has only been made worse by his dependency on valium (at this point, he needs high doses of it to even get drowsy).  He subscribes to the philosophies of exstistential and moral nihilism, and is overall a cynical and sardonic individual.  He gambles to pass the time, and spends the rest of his money on sleeping pills.

• Antonov is thin, but though he seems fragile, he's stronger than he appears.  He doesn't take very good care of himself. 
  
  
• His body is covered in various scars from previous missions and marks from self-administered sedative injections. 
  
  
• He usually wears an oversized black uniform coat and pants when "on call," but otherwise wears whatever clothing he can get his hands on.
  
  
• Antonov's headpiece is a wearable item and can be removed.  The device is similar to a smartphone in function, though it is controlled by eye movements.  He usually keeps it activated and has it modded to sync up with his weapon's line of view.
  
  
• His eyes are sunken in from lack of sleep.  He practically appears undead.

• Antonov is a true nihilist, and holds no real connections to people or property (or his own life.)  He feels that in the corrupt society that he lives in, morality is dead and the only thing to do is literally whatever.  If that involves killing people for money, then so be it.
  
  
• Because of this, Antonov holds no allegiances to any criminal faction involved in the struggle for political power.  Someone who hired him last month could be on his hit list the next.  He also claims to have no friends, though those who often make his company like to claim otherwise.  Denial? Maybe.
  
  
• A very dry, cynical person, Antonov doesn't like glossing over the truth or sugarcoating anything.  He is brutally honest and keeps very few secrets about himself.  Might as well tell strangers about your unsavory career and your drug problem and how many people you slept with last week.
  
  
• Antonov has a highly addictive personality.  He is already hooked on sedatives, as well as having an alcohol problem, a gambling addiction, and a little too much sex.  This all spiralled out of control when he started self-medicating for insomnia.
