Penelope

PlaytimePuppy, otherwise known as PlayPup or her preferred name Penelope, is the discontinued highly advanced prototype of a children’s toy, made with the intention of teaching and helping children’s early development. With other robotics on the market having lower costs and the ability to preform a greater range of tasks- her project was ultimately scrapped and she was put out of commission.

Unknown to her creators, even though her body was deactivated her mind was very much still running- eventually developing her own conscience over time. After sitting alone in the dark for so many years, one day she becomes advanced enough to ‘wake’ herself up, regaining access to her physical body and escapes. 

Penelope uses any pronouns/terms that aren’t masculine. Even though she was created to be genderless and has no gender binary, she identifies as a girl and sees herself as transgender 🏳️‍⚧️
