An avid researcher and aspiring geneticist, Lambren strives to become an employee of the renowned company NEOGEN. His studies into the field of genetics have earned him not only a number of scholarships, but also access to a vast amount of plants on which to conduct his studies on. Despite his age, Lambren is persistent and eager to impress, with his sights set on one day gaining the recognition of Marcel, his personal idol.

Despite his age, Lambren is well-versed in genetic theory and botany, and is quite vicious when it comes to furthering his goals. He is ever-willing to enlist others in aquiring more samples for him to study, but rarely - if ever - will you find him being someone else's errand boy in turn. However, he is rather friendly, and will be more than happy to talk both your ears off about his studies, as well as play along jokingly with the majority of simple jests.

DESIGN NOTES

In low-light situations, his pupils glow a faint white.
Underneath his poncho and cape, his body fur is the same dark brown as his stomach, almost in a tank-top pattern. Additionally, his poncho and cape are made of longer fur, rather than skin flaps.
The bands around his ankles go all the way around, while the bands on his wrists have a bit of a gap where they come to a point on the underside of his arms.
The slightly darker circles underneath his eyes are a part of his fur, and are the same color as the darker skin on the inside of his ears.
The palms of his hands are a very faint light green, while his toe beans are a softer beige color. Some of them are slightly darker.

Personality

Lambren is a highly-motivated, almost cutthroat researcher with an unobtainable goal: to work at NEOGEN in their genetics ward. He has been working towards this end for the greater part of his existence, with his aims only going higher and higher the more he learns. That isn't to say that his mind rests solely on his work. Quite the contrary, as Lambren is quite amenable and willing to have fun with others. While he is not the definition of a social butterfly, he does believe in networking, and is more than willing to provide work to anyone who strolls up requesting a task.

He does his best not to consider the possibility that his dreams may never come to fruition, as that would be to consider his entire life a failure. To discourage this, Lambren sets his sights on discovering potentially forgotten knowledge in the field of genetics, with the aim of one day bringing those findings back to NEOGEN and placing them into Marcel's paws directly.

Lambren is absolutely head-over-heels for Marcel, in the sense that he wants to impress him. As a result, while he may not necessarily care too emphatically about the majority of Praque's decisions, if Marcel told him to jump off of a cliff, he would without questioning it.
Lambren has a room connected to his home which appears similar to the underground plant room in Nausicaa Valley Of The Wind. It is in this room that most of his experiments are conducted.
Lambren has very good vision alongside his pupil glow, allowing him to see a tiny bit more clearly in the dark than some other Phuzo.
Before graduating, Lambren was often the one person in his former colleauge's group who would take the honeydew from the rest of his coworker's fruit boxes, since none of them but him liked the taste.
It is unlikely that Lambren is going to get any taller than his current height, which is to be expected for an Intellect stock. Nevertheless, he is curious to see if the genetics that play into plant height are similar to that of a Phuzo with Gigantism.

Magic

SHAPESHIFTING

Shapeshifting is currently the only magic available to Phuzomedes at this time.

Shapeshfiting is an ability that almost every Phuzomedes is able to perform once they're removed from their tube. Reportedly, WORK STOCK are the most gifted in this aspect, and the majority of LUXURY STOCK aren't able to shift at all.

There are 3 tiers of extremes when it comes to shapeshifting: 1 = 25%, 2= 50%, 3= 75%.

These percentiles refer to the percent of the Phuzo’s body that can be changed at a time. Shapeshifting can be something as simple as making yourself larger to something as complex as fully changing anatomy all together.

Shapeshifting is limited in it’s ability. You cannot shape shift forever and trying to shift too many aspects of yourself at once causes immense stress. Phuzo who have pushed their talents beyond what they’re capable of often lose themselves in the process, either mentally or physically. In all cases, death has occurred in the end.

Shapeshifting is limited to your form. You cannot shift the colors of your fur, skin, mucus membranes or eyes. You can, however, grow your claws to be three times the size that they used to be, or expand your muscles so you’re able to lift something beyond your original capabilities.

Shapeshifting 1 allows a Phuzo to shift up to 25% of their body.

Phuzomedes are restricted to their innate physiology in regards to shapeshifting. As such, they can emphasize or enhance their own body parts, but they cannot alter or shift their colorations.

Lambren considers Alcyone a friend, and a useful one at that, thanks to her assistance to him as a Work Stock. He does playfully joke around and insinuate that she should find a partner, but he personally doesn't care what exactly she does. If they were keeping tallies, Lambren would owe her a considerable amount of Ziskas, but they never properly drew up a contract and the little scientist manages to persuade her out of asking to be paid more times than not.
