Backstory and personality:
name: sahel

current location: an island in the middle of the ocean between pyrrhia and pantala
- born to apoica (mother, hivewing) and saguaro (father, sandwing) after a fling between the two of them. saguaro washed up on the far shore of pantala, near the mantis hive after his unit was attacked and chased by enemy forces. he stayed hidden with apoica for a few weeks recuperating before leaving for pyrrhia. apoica, unknowingly halfway through her pregnancy, later left to find him again, longing to see him and new lands that were only a mere legend to her. sahel was born on a random island at the halfway-point between the two landmasses, apoica only staying with her for a few years before leaving to continue on her quest to find saguaro. because of this, sahel has some abandonment/trust issues and partly resents her parents for leaving her to find each other. currently, however, she is also considering leaving her island to fly to either of the continents to discover what's out there.

- wings: sandwing-style wings but with a translucent membrane like hivewings but not exactly; she's better at gliding and short/powerful flights than long distance flights
