{ About }

Pralin is a happy esk who loves the zoo she lives in. She spends most of her time following the day-to-day life of the animals and humans that work there, and loves to befriend creatures she encounters.

{ Backstory }

As a human Pralin was beaming in her dream job. She literally got paid for talking about animals and educating others, and could not believe the luck she had to have landed a life like that. Her life was great for a few years, until the fateful morning she was tasked to get footage of the leopard. Pralin had arranged with the leopard's carer to go film in the staff corridor, which wasn't anything new and everything started as usual.

The leopard's carer demonstrated how the animal's health is monitored by training and made the cat rise to its hind feet against the enclosure hatch. For some reason the hatch broke and the animal got free. The scared leopard attacked Pralin, who was a strange person and the bigger threat, allowing the zookeeper to escape. The human had no chance against a wild cat.

The esk Loux happened on the scene just a bit too late to save the human. He blamed himself for not being attentive enough of his boundary, as he felt that protecting its humans and animals were his duty. As he saw that the human had no chance of surviving, he decided to make an exception on his rule of not creating new esk and protect the human that way.

The newborn esk was a confused and shocked about what had happened, but Loux explained calmly about the new life she was about to begin and offered his friendship. Pralin was glad to accept, which marked the beginning of their lasting partnership. Pralin was excited of the possibilities that her new existence offered, despite mourning the loss of her old life so suddenly. She adjusted fast and would not turn back anymore.

Boundary Description

{ Origin }

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
