Ariana Avar

Arianna Avar is a superhero training with The League of Established and Up and Coming Supers (or just "The League") which is led by internationally famous and beloved super Ace of Diamonds, who has taken a personal interest in Arianna's powers.

Training under the alias "Alt," Arianna can reach into alternate dimensions, and pull things from them. This might not seem like much (especially to her) but The League, and the Ace of Diamonds, sees great potential in her gift. Arianna just feels lucky. If they hadn't, she'd have to turn to other means to find sanctuary, as superhero work was the only thing she could think of to get away from her abusive father, and try to recover from her debilitating anxiety.

Like all young supers who join the League, she is assigned a team to work with, and a mentor to learn under. Her squadron is comprised of Sparky, the underdog of the group struggling to learn to control their potentially very powerful electrokinesis, Aura, a gifted navitamancer and the head of her class, Chimera, a talented derapath, and Azure - a contentious shapeshifter with a knack for making things worse.
