Madeline is a rough and tough pony/alien hybrid who is traveling through dimensions in an attempt to stop a corrupt alien from breaking space and time by fucking around with said dimensions. They travel in her father's Tardis, tracking the location of the being and attempting to slay it whenever possible, while also trying not to make a mess of the world herself.

They pretend to be mature and hard, but she, unfortunately, is still a child, so they can be quite naïve and find certain situations overwhelming. She's a bit of a brat, mouthy, and talks back when their authority is questioned, and doesn't like to admit when she's wrong. It would take someone with patience and understanding to actually get through to them and get her to loosen up a bit.

Madeline only travels with one companion; her father, who is currently in a comatose state, unable to regenerate or be awake. They feed him food every day in order to keep him healthy, hook up an iv full of water, and keep them breathing with a mask. He is the only one she really talks to nowadays, having one-sided chats and usually eating dinners with them. She misses him dearly and hopes she will be able to revive him one day.

Madeline will eventually learn to let people in time, especially after the first Mango and Lilly arc. It's a few months later where them and Saxon officially become partners in crime, and she's starting to grow as the outgoing, rowdy young lady she should be.

It's during a time where Saxon visits her mother and they're alone again where she tries to dig deeper into what DR is and what he's done. The "kill yourself" arc.

She digs into the files, missing parts, and questioning the thumb drives containing the past companions of her fathers. At this point in the timeline, she hasn't fully convinced the thumb drives are real consciousness, rather an advanced ai tech that he programmed to be as lifelike as possible. That is until they find the thumb drive containing her first regeneration self.

Horrified by this and in a major shock, she ends up destroying the drive, because, in their words, "I don't want my younger self to suffer in that hell. That's worse than death."

She then goes to each thumb drive, explaining the true state that they're in and asking if they would want her to kill them. All but Derpy accepts, as Derpy wishes to be a good mother figure and friend in her life, even if she isn't fully there.

She has a disdain for their father after this. She debates chucking his lifeless body into the cold abyss of space and leaving him there to rot. Saxon ends up talking her out of it, but the task was taken on by her now to feed him. Madeline can't bear to look at his face.
