Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Carnelian, or Lia, is the youngest member of her family and the to only girl on her father's side of the family. She is cantankerous, loud, and very difficult to control. She descends from a long line of sorcerers that practice the Vermillion school of magic, originating from France, one that has the horrific abilities to alter the human form, and from an established Japanese family of psychics. Unsure of where to go with her life, she abruptly moves in with a close friend she met online in Hellsalem's Lot. Here, she takes the opportunity of physical closeness to try and form a relationship with her new roommate, who she has had a crush on for over a year.
Lia is utterly obsessed with lolita fashion and anything she deems "cute". She is also very open about her preference for masculine women.
