Rumi

There is a legend among the people passed down from generation to generation that there was once a distrustful god more powerful than any beast that had ever lived in this realm. The legend describes this beast as a mooselike creature taller than the tallest trees possessed with strange dangerous magical abilities. This old god had been thought long gone as they had not been seen in many many years but then after all this time she is spotted, they only had the writings of their ancestors to go by but they are certain the god has returned. (even though Rumi is nowhere near as big as the legend they believe their ancestors MUST have been overdramatic because she is plenty big enough)

Fearing the worst they offer their finest jewels, gold and crops to keep her pleased, they try to avoid having her come too close to the village for seeing her is considered a bad omen so they hope these offerings will keep her pleased and keep her away.

Rumi is your every day happy but rather clumsy moose. She spends her days exploring the beautiful large forest that she calls home and adores decorating her horn with beautiful plants, gems and gold that the local humans gift her for some reason? She loves the humans! She thinks they're such weird entertaining creatures though she really does wish she could get a closer look but they must be shy as they keep running away.

Sadly Rumi will often get strange powerful headaches that leave her almost paralysed for days at a time, when she feels these headaches approaching she'll retreat to her cosy den and that's where she will remain till it fades away. These random days won't keep her down though she'll be back up and running and ready to face a beautiful day of adventure in no time! Being the big "intimidating" creature she is, predators almost never attempt taking her down since it would be pointless. This leaves her rather oblivious to the dangers in this weird world though it may not be long before she starts to see the real world around her.
