Fushigi flits between this world and that, a curious tourist that never overstays their welcome. Despite their ephemeral visits, sometimes the eldritch and the wonderful follow after Fushigi, thus inadvertently taking these other beings into realms they should never have visited.
Despite the unwelcome visitors that sometimes rides on Fushigi's coattails he usually a welcome site for the knowledge and wisdom he brings. As a far traveller, he is always delighted to talk to others, giving and taking knowledge as he travels.

Born of candle smoke and the smell of old books, Fushigi came into the world under mysterious circumstances. Snow fell as a rooster cried, drawing Fushigi into the world.
Fushigi hates boredom and is on a restless pursuit of knowledge and new experiences. Even Fushigi doesn't know when his journey will end but time for him is inconsequential as he hasn't aged a day since he reached maturity.
Fushigi can cross between worlds as easily as breathing.
Fushigi can speak to anyone, regardless of language barriers.
