He actually has exceptional talent to portray villains and monsters, so it's basically his goal with more props and prosthetics, right? Outside of work, he enjoys venturing into little hole-in-the-wall stores or antique shops to find knick-knacks to add to his collection of obscure punk band memorabilia.

He also definitely, most CERTAINLY, does NOT have a massive crush on his very oblivious best friend, and isn't prone to getting roped into ridiculous projects or be a guinea pig for "new and improved" makeup formulae because of it.
