Summary
Kandi may have the body of a 21 year old, but in reality, they're a DID system comprised of only child alters! It's unknown how many alters they have, and they all share a collective name, but they like to express their individuality through their uniform. Kandi often adorns different helmets, visors, clothing, and lots and lots of accessories - not to mention all the stickers! As they are very much a child, they are kept as a non-combatant within the safety of the Tankmen's complexes. They spend most of their time playing with toys salvaged from wrecked homes, drawing and colouring, and being a general mood-booster for any soldier who passes by. Nobody really knows what caused them to develop DID in the first place, but as long as Kandi feels safe, then that's all that matters.

- Has a long tail which is fluffy at the end - it's unclear why they have one to begin with, but it often shows their emotions.
- Has atleast three separate helmets - maybe more! - which they repeatedly replace the stickers on.
- Always wears black and rainbow clothing, and often adorns themselves with kandi, charms, head accessories, etcetera.
- Generally always wears a collar if they can help it, and loves to switch out the charm hanging on it.
- They don't announce switches, and while their physical appearance may possibly correspond to groups of alters, it's never specified.
- Loves to make friendship bracelets for everyone they meet!

Captain Honorary Dad
Captain is just about the closest thing Kandi has to a parental figure, and he's the one who insists they stay a non-combatant to begin with. Kandi loves getting comfort from Captain, and playing with him, but understands he isn't always available for that kind of stuff. Captain will protect Kandi with all his being, as it's the least he can do for the poor kids.
Ted Honorary Mom
If Captain is the closest thing to a parental figure, then Ted is the second closest. It's not entirely clear what endeared Ted to Kandi, but rumour has it he has a soft spot for kids of all kinds. Ted makes an effort to bring back presents for Kandi when he goes on reconnaissance, and Kandi loves to play with him. Ted even gifted Kandi their own nightvision goggles for them to customize.
Rae Best Friend
Rae is Kandi's best friend, and their favourite person to play with! Kandi loves that he's someone else with an adult body who feels very childish inside. They often play Spaceships together, and Kandi saves all of their space-themed stickers for him. They're close enough that they even sleep in the same bed on occasion, especially when playing tires them out.
Commander Nicer Than He Seems
Kandi starts to spend more time around Commander as his and Captain's relationship develops, and when the two of them have twins, Kandi can barely contain their excitement! Commander is fond of Kandi, though a bit worried about how to treat them at first, but soon finds letting them play with his kids is a great way to get some free time.
