• Introverted, warm-hearted, anxious, and clingy

• People who first meet him usually find him intimidating and unapproachable due to a combination of his height, dark aura, and overall lack of social skills, but he's pretty much just a gentle giant, a big soft baby if you will. He's surprisingly adorable around those he's comfortable with.
• Best friends with Kai since he was 5. They live on the same street.
• He becomes easily attached to those who are kind to him; one of the aiding factors leading to his longtime friendship with Kai
• Doesn't talk often, even with people he knows, but when he does it's usually just in small words or clipped sentences.
• Favorite color(s): black + blue
• Unlike Kai, Dax doesn't care much for fashion, and tends to wear whatever he finds lying around. A habit Kai has been trying to break for him for years. Most of his clothes are neutral and dark colors, with the exception of blues. He loves sweatpants, ripped jeans/t-shirts, hoodies, baggy clothes to conceal his lankiness, or generally anything dark. Accessories are okay, but he doesn't wear them often.
• His mother (an Araigumamimi/raccoon demi-human of French origin) died during childbirth so he was raised by his father (a human of African origin), who abused him both physically and emotionally for most of his childhood (story for that will come when I make an extensive profile,, oof.)
• He loves to draw, and is genuinely pretty good at it. Kai, who is a terrible artist, picked up the hobby because of him.
• Extensive scarring on his back, and the back of his shins. Plus more minor scars on his arms + head (see drawing notes for those)
• Loves scary movies, the dark, small and cramped spaces (he feels secure), generally all sweets - specifically ice cream, Kai, baths, fuzzy blankets, oranges, drawing, anything shiny/sparkly, superhero comics, etc.
• Dislikes strangers, long conversations, violence, being alone, his father, the smell of cigarette smoke, running (or generally any form of exercise), loud noises, being touched by unfamiliar people, cars + most vehicles (he gets carsick easily). etc.

What you see is what you get for the most part on this bean! The only thing not shown in his art are his scars! As I mentioned a bit above, he has extensive scarring on his back (which is not usually seen unless an artist wishes to draw him without a shirt in a SFW manner lol) and the back of his shins from being whipped with a belt, as well as a few minor scars on his arms (left arm: 1 slash on his outer forearm, 1 x-shaped one on the shoulder; right arm: 2 cigarette burns on his inner forearm, 1 slash just above the elbow, 2 slashes on the inner wrist - yes that one is what you think it is); and a couple on his head (all of which are hidden by his hair so those will never be seen). If wearing anything with short sleeves, his wrist scars are usually hidden with something like a sweatband or a bandana. Like Kai, I am always looking for new outfits or styles for him, as I am horrendous at designing clothes! So if you feel inspired to make him a new look, I shall praise you till the end of time <3
