Coming from a poor and conservative household, Olivia made her way up into the PPDC with intelligence and perseverance.
She truly lives for her work, it brings her joy and purpose. Olli seems like some lanky, well-behaved nerd until she opens her mouth and a lighthearted insult comes out of it ... or every second word being "fuck"; though her input rarely lacks content. While working for the PPDC, she took a liking to cryptozoology, sometimes visiting the Sydney shatterdome's labs while off-duty.
When not working she likes to read the newspaper or the most boring specialized literature she can find; or hang with her best friend Jody.
When the first Kaiju attacked San Francisco in August 2013, Olli was studying Enviromental Science at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. While this event was absolutely horryfiing to her, it was a "sign" for her parents, who eventually became BuenaKai followers, seeing the Kaiju as the solution to end the world's sins. The establishing of the Pan Pacific Defence Corps in 2014 prompted her to go even further and apply for an Engineering major, with the goal to work for the PPDC and help bring this "Kaiju war" to an end (also deep inside hoping her family will then stop worshipping Kaijus).
This created a deep rift between both parties. Olli still calls her family now and then because she feels responsible to keep contact as their oldest daughter; its pretty complicated. She finished in 2019 (thanks to another scholarship) with a double bachelors degree in Engineering and Creative Intelligence and Innovation and went to apply to the PPDC's academy, and afterwards straight to work at Sydney's shatterdome in the J-Tech division.
In 2023, to further get away from her family, she applied for a (underqualified) position at Hong Kong shatterdome's LOCCENT, not knowing about the fact the whole project was about to end, and Hong Kong becoming the last stronghold against the Kaiju. It's where she met Jody, a jumphawk pilot. At first both only had contact through radio (as Olli's job was dispatching the jumphawks and keeping contact to the pilots), but as they were pretty fast getting along well, they soon started to hang out together in person.
Due to the casualities in pilots and huge financial cost, the whole program is relocated to Hong Kong and given 8 months of funding before the program will be permanently retired. [WIP] [-> when every other shatterdome was closed and all what was left got transferred to hong kong, she got promoted (surprisingly for her, only)(Jody pep talked her some days before that she deserves a better positions, she is more capable than she thinks) as second in command(?)(Jaeger Controlling Operator????) and support to Tendo Choi; as now organizing and dispatching more than one Jaeger as a single person got difficult. still chiming in to talk to Jody, tho. But as Ollie is capable of multitasking it is no problem for her to juggle more than one task. ALSO: pretty sure they are kinda understaffed anyway

- uses a reusable straw and cup whenever possible
- dyied half her hair light blue as a hommage to the jaeger Gipsy Danger, that's when Jody decided to nickname her "Danger". Olli is AT MOST intellectually dangerous
- often has minor inconveniences happening to her: holding the cup in just the wrong angle so the coffee pours on her clothes when wanting to drink; her shoelaces getting loose by themselves; stuff like that. Has big brain energy but seems to be unable to tie a shoe properly
- when angry or excited, her accent gets stronger until incomprehensible
- can speak spanish, mandarin (pretty sure while stationed in HK shatterdome she'll pick up cantonese), russian and a bit of japanese, next to english (duh).

At work, you could describe her clothing style as "tactical chic", as she doesn't skip on wearing tactical pants and her work boots. Likes to combine blouses with sweaters and wears 89% of the time small brooches on them. Going out(side), she would pair those with a simple pair of textile pants or jeans and Brouges. Olli also has a thing for big golden earrings.
Weak noodle nowadays, as the academy days are long gone. She badly needs to get in shape again. Sometimes bikes around the shatterdome.
