Shishi

- The yellow bits fade to the red in statue mode

They patrol the surrounding areas of the palace, and reside in the nearby temple. They are the spokespeople of the gods, and their only purpose is to guard the religious grounds of the capital, as well as the sovereign.
They carry out the will of the gods, which weirdly enough, means keeping the sovereign in power, something that may or may not be detrimental to the population.
They rarely speak. 

- Probably about ten of them scattered around the capital in total. They all appear identical.
