Dodger is sad, downright depressed, absolutely not having a great time. He once had who he considered the most beautiful wife in the world, three kids, but now he lives miles and miles away from them, dimensions away.

Dodger grew up as an orphan and jumped from foster home to foster home, being an inconvenience but not bothersome enough to be a big problem for anyone. He learned how to survive on his own into adulthood and and acquired an interest in air-fishing. The the local ‘fishermen’ in the mountains catch the populous white birds in the area and would sell them for meat. He ended up making it a part of his livelihood and passion.

He grew up as a ladies man, live fast die hard, until he met Jade, love of his life, enraptured by her practical and blunt personality. She caved to his stupid romantic poems and dinner by candlelight and they married. And had kids. Maybe a little more kids than they anticipated, as money was tight, but they had each other. Only one problem, Dodger had acquired a hobby of gambling, which started up with his co-workers as a way to de-stress from working two jobs for a while. Once a harmless hobby, the addiction of gambling strangled him. Despite him being good at the games, luck wasn’t always on his side. He lost so much over the years that he had to put Jade in charge over the finances. Even then, he couldn’t stop.

Jade and Dodger still loved each other through thick and thin, and when Dodger lost hope of ever being able to quit, Jade insisted they keep looking for options until they exhausted everything. Dodger tried everything for years, even rehab, but he just couldn’t shake it. Lost and without hope, Dodger could no longer bear the suffering he was causing his family and left, leaving some legal papers giving Jade the permission to divorce in his absence should she choose to. He felt it was the only way he would ever give his family peace to recover. While he was away, he sent whatever money he earned to Jade and the family until he lost contact. He was miserable.

Dodger spent most of his life traveling from place to place, homeless for the most part though he did temporarily settle in some dimensions. He racked up an incredible debt and had to find loopholes to borrow more money from banks without anyone tracking him down, all to gamble it away. He ends up meeting Ghost and friends, and Ezra and Yuuko end up finding out he’s the dad of their friend Sly. Who they’re looking for. Dodger of course wants to find his son despite knowing Sly hated his guts (he didnt blame him of course.) so Dodger joins the group and becomes the wine uncle grandpa.

His home dimension ability is to manipulate certain kinds of cloth and raw clothing materials to make them move. (think like telepathy but with clothes, he can make himself float)

He also has very diluted harpy genetics which is why he has red markings on his eyes, not makeup, it’s permanently on there since birth.
