after the tragedy occured, it became brainwashed into serving under Junko enoshima, taking on the mission of enacting her will to bring despair to all (alongside the other members of ultimate despair). with the knowledge bestowed upon it by its role as the ultimate paintballer, it worked alongside her other followers, bringing despair to the world via blinding innocent citizens with its sniped paintballs. when partnered with peko pekoyama, this made it quite easy for her to murder those blinded by it, though the duo also permitted their victims to simply remain forever blinded at times.

before junko formed her plan in pursuit of the “ultimate despair”, they were essentially a normal couple, bonding over their fondness of guns and machinery. however, when soda became an ultimate despair, he forced his ideals onto socks, coercing him into joining their supposed “cause”. from then on, he has continuously supplied him with guns, as well as modified ones he already owned, to allow for support of paintballs.
