- looks soft/feminine, not helped by the fact that his clothes tend to be a bit oversized (he's quite short for an alpha, which doesn't help either)
- he initially comes off as rude/uninterested/dismissive/etc, but he does have a kinder side
- skilled with a sword (but also his claws)
- sometimes mistaken for a beta because of his appearance, but there's no mistaking it when his shirt is off - despite his smaller build he's still got some muscle and the alpha mark on his chest
- doesn't understand when someone is teasing him in a friendly way and often gets defensive/aggressive towards them (this mostly happens with spire - but the two have a good relationship and he admits to it)
- hard to read, but he rarely smiles
- the one that named seven (potentially spire as well - he isn't good at naming things)
- usually the one seven borrows clothes from - the smaller galaxtal seems to like more intricate, frilly clothing (and emery has plenty that would otherwise not be worn)
- has spent his entire life near/on the ocean (as a result he isnt very social, but knows a lot about sailing and fishing)

- struggled with unrequited feelings for a long time - he's had Spire at his side practically permanently since making the decision to move on (it's clear something has changed in their relationship but unclear exactly what)
- doesn't usually get embarrassed/flustered, but he sometimes gets a bit red in the face if spire starts being affectionate
