Lumi was born and raised in her winter kingdom (eventually we should come up with an actual name) and was raised by her two fathers. He She loved living there with her family. Eventually a war was started though. One father would go out on the battlefield and the other would stay since he had to rule. The father died on the battlefield and Lumi used the promise she made to him to motivate her to train and get stronger so she can defend herself. While this motivated her, his death also sent her into an intense grief. While Lumi was mourning the father who was ruling had a different way of dealing with the grief, which was moving on. He couldn't be around things belonging to his lost partner so Lumi probably inherited a lot of it and he quickly found someone new and remarried. Lumi and the step parent don't get along and the father hasn't done anything about it. At some point during this downward spiral one of her aunts saw it as an opportunity and attempted to sacrifice her while she was in this weakened state, only for the God to intervene since they don't want human/humanoid/probably any kind of sacrifice. This was also the first time Lumi and the God met. Lumi was able to get away, but was still getting worse and worse mentally so she started to sing and garden. She would also think about the God who saved her fondly from time to time, but it became more apparent and consistent as she got better. While she likes and wants to get to know the God better she is also worried that they hate her because of the almost getting sacrificed thing so she hasn't sought them out since. Also due to her downward spiral her feelings of the kingdom she once loves as slowly turned to hate and feeling trapped because of what has happened, which only complicates things more.
