Her kingdom was at war, she was forced to marry the opposing sides prince, and ended up being locked in her own castle by her new husband. She found a way to escape and she found the rebellion. She was almost killed, but they had pity on her, and she helped lead the rebellion. The rebellion overran the kingdom, and won. She was crowned by the rebellion as Queen, but she didn't have complete control, she had a council that finalized all decisions. The council was changed every 5 years, and voted on by the citizens.
