Glutamate

- they're very hyper-active and energetic, somewhat childish-- naive and can be fooled pretty easily but is overall a sweetheart
- honestly people feel the need to baby them because of how silly and generally child-like they are
- for some reason they really like chinese food and they really hate foods that are too dull or not flavorful enough-- due to this they eat a lot of junk foods
- they don't mean to hurt anyone but sometimes their powers go off without them really meaning to
- they can generate 'fields' of the effect of their power or do so with physical contact, but their abilities tend to cause migraines and seizures
- they can channel electricity, but ultimately they can mess with some neurotransmitters in the cells with electrical signals to cause the effects of a glutamate overdose, basically
- they may accidentally make people around them tired or give them headaches if they're feeling down/angry/etc-- or sometimes when they're just too excited for their own good
- they genuinely mean well and are a pretty alright person to go to, all things considered - they usually don't go out much and prefer to loaf around and eat... they're somewhat lazy, but they're also a bit cowardly and they don't like taking too many risks-- play it safe!
- they have an incredibly good memory and learn fast
