Tziporah Sherman (most commonly known by her nickname, Janis) is pursuing her lifelong dream to be a rockstar -- and not the modern version; she's talkin' the 70s-80s crazy party bigger-than-life-itself kind of rockstar. Her first career goal is to get signed on by Floyd Galante Records, ran by (can you guess who) Floyd Galante, ome of Janis' idols. Janis is flamboyant, out-of-the-box, and passionate; never stops talking (unless someone is there to give her the 'too much, dude' signal).

Summary
Janis has been obsessed with music for as long as she can remember; admiring concerts and music videos and using the guitar close-ups as an opportunity to practice. A collector of 70s-80s rock mags, a YouTube concert viewer and maybe watch a few interviews after that; everything and anything to get a nugget of information. She's bought prono mags because included is an interview with a musician she likes (boobs are a sick bonus though /hit).
Her dad, Elliot, made the mistake of buying her a trampoline one summer. It didn't take Janis long to begin playing the guitar while jumping on the trampoline. Her father would panic thinking she was going to hurt herself (rightfully so tbh) so she began practicing when he was at work. She treats the guitar like it's an extention of herself, using it as a prop to gesuture if it's in her hands, and otherwise exercising great control during her various stage tricks. Janis can play the guitar forwards, backwards, and sideways and never miss a note -- backflips and jealous ex-band mates come included.
When she isn't working her part-time job or recording a song in her redneck-engineering-flavored home studio that only she can navigate, she's probably going into debt over her little iced coffee obsession.

- She stole a few Playboy mags from her neighbor when she was 14. There's a story. That she loves to tell. Over and over. (she's forgotten she's already told it lmao)
- She uses a cheap colonge, but yearns for the colonge Floyd Galante is confirmed to use. (her source: a rock magazine from April 1988)
- Jan has a part-time job because, as much as she loves music, "being a session guitarist with a personality people can't stand is /not/ very profitable."

"Housemate" is a nice way of saying Janis lives in Roxanne's basement for $200/month. These two were best friends when Janis first moved in two years ago, but something has driven them apart lately. They often bicker over small indiscretions, but they keep their opinions under wraps when they throw their weekly house parties.
Brian • Best Friend
The two often hang out and smoke w33d together. Brian was the first person Janis met after moving to Coral, they hit it off instantly. They're both loud, obnixious, and high-energy - though Janis sometimes takes it too far and he has to reel her back in. When they're not doing gigs either separately or together, the two like to improv random songs together.
Luna Fallen • ???
When they aren't fed up with Janis, they're simmering ready to boil over at a pussy joke's notice. They'd like to invite Brian to join their band, Lunar Fallen, but they'd need assured Brian wouldn't drag... /that/... with him to band practice.
Keiko • Exchanged Numbers
She wants to do Adult Things with Janis but is too stubborn to ask directly, so she drops hints. That fly right over Janis' head. She's beyond frustrated and has definitely screamed into a pillow once or twice. That aside, Jan is a talented musician and Keiko wants to keep tabs on her for selfish reasons.

They tend to chit-chat about 70s fashion; really nothing else gets discussed as they aren't super close yet.
