Backstory
Sometime after leaving his hometown of Valence on his own at age 18, Simon met a woman named Charlotte, who turned out to be the love of his life. They married when he was 24 years old, and after a year, had a beautiful little girl named Gaëlle. He had the opportunity to fall in love with his daughter for 5 years before he was called to a potential crime scene, only to discover that his own wife and child were two of the victims of a brutal mall shooting orchestrated by a deranged lunatic named Irenée Sauvageon. Talk about bad luck. He was driven mad with grief and rage for only a few hours, because after that, the criminals were brought to their knees before him. He had the opportunity to kill them there, but refused, knowing that killing them would make him no better a man. His wife and daughter wouldn't want that for him. The criminals now under the judgment of his higher-ups, and with no one left in his life, Simon reconnected with his estranged twin brother and insisted that they work together under the same rank. Ever since the incident, Simon's been doing his best to be a happy-go-lucky type of guy, but he's still understandably shaken around children and dead bodies... |
