Born and raised in the Realm of Fire. Carolae spent much of her youth traveling the desert with a troupe, putting on grand aerial performances. The troupe had certain locations they prioritized visiting with little variation, and eventually Carolae became bored with those places. She left to travel alone. 

She went to the Realm of the Isles of night first, as it is often a setting of the plays she had acted in, and wanted to see the dark realm with her own eyes. After that she traveled back through the Fire Realm, south all the way to the Chaos Realm she was mesmerized by the ice covered lands. She traveled for decades through the realm, making a name for herself for her one-man acts in the settlements she rested at.

Eventually she came to make a home in Snowine, the city of the Demon Queen Asellia, in the far west of the the Chaos Realm. Travelling alone throughout all the of the demon realms and made Carolae quite formidable, combined with her charismatic personality. She garnered quite a bit a respect with the people of the city. And was eventually given the honorary title of demon lord.

She can make her wings go away, but the red diamonds that float around her always stay out.
