ExasperatedSternDiligent

A responsible sort, always having been the type to appreciate rules and follow them to her utmost perfection. Felicia has always been one to carry out the commands of the adults in her life, acting as a model to what a 'perfectly behaved' child should be. Born in a humble but rather strict village, Felicia was always diligent and industrious when it came to her tasks and chores. She was considered a true gem among the village, adults adored her and the other kids seemed to hold a sense of reverence towards her as well. Felicia always feels the most comfortable when she has an itinerary or plan to follow; she is not at all the sort to do anything in the 'spur of the moment' and can tend to become annoyed and flustered if things don't fall in accordance to her carefully crafted plans. She had always been considered too mature for her age, she never quite had the fun or carefree childhood that most kids do.

As a youth, Felicia was rather quiet and awkward, so she struggled in making connections with those her age. Nowadays, as an adult, she could still be considered extremely socially awkward but hides it pretty well behind her maturity and uptight nature. She's the sort to not understand when a joke is made; such things will fly by her head and she sometimes takes things too literally, to a degree. Unlike her sister, Felicia is rather concrete in nature. She says what she means and doesn't typically beat around the bush. Despite any of this, Felicia is humble in nature. She's incredibly intelligent when it comes to rationality and deep-thinking, but she's easily embarrassed by compliments or praise. She just has a sense of duty to adhere to her own code of morals, which, in her opinion, isn't really something anyone should feel the need to praise her for.

When it comes to adventuring, Felicia could hardly call herself a fan. She doesn't like the unpredictability that comes with traveling and she doesn't like to get her paws dirty, so to speak. She's not exactly a "scaredy-cat" type, but she does get pretty nervous and anxious when situations start taking a more dire turn. She handles things with an air of caution, never running into a situation with a reckless abandon. She prefers to plan out everyone's course of action before they act in a situation, which may work sometimes but not all situations have the timeframe for a plan. Despite this, when push comes to shove Felicia is incredibly dependable and can calmly and decisively give out orders on the fly. Sometimes others can consider her a tad bossy, but the truth is that Felicia really has the makings of a good leader and cares about those who reside under her watchful eye. In a way, she's almost like a motherly sort. She frets deeply about those she gets close to and does her best to keep them on a 'right path'. Felicia is typically not a fan of violence and would rather rationalize things than let her emotions dictate her actions. However, if anyone were to harm her friends she would throw all that out the window...despite her appearance Felicia is actually quite fierce in a fight and will utilize the horn on her head.

She often finds herself feeling exasperated, going on adventures and looking out for her friends takes a toll on her in ways that leave her feeling exhausted. Felicia can act bitter and sarcastic at times, but she tries her best never to complain about a situation as she deems that as childish behavior. Felicia's biggest flaw is that she refuses to let loose and enjoy herself, which can cause her to clash with more carefree Midveilers. It isn't as though she loathes the idea of it, but more that she just really doesn't know HOW to relax and is afraid of the judgment she may receive from others. She acts as a foil to Felicity in this sense, as Felicity is the type to let loose and "live life to the fullest." As time passes, Felicia begins to build up quite an array of negative feelings towards her lifestyle. She was initially to become a head figure of her village but threw that aside in order to go after Felicity and protect her. Truthfully, she doesn't act much different from her life in the village...unable to quite adapt to the freeform lifestyle like her sister and the rest of their group do. She grows frustrated over the fact that nobody seems to take her seriously, despite the fact that her logic and plans had carried them to success multiple times. She's often the butt of jokes, mostly led by Felicity, and although she acts like it doesn't bother her it truly does deep down. She's disgruntled with the fact that she's second to her sister, and that, despite never once indicating her feelings, she's upset that Felicity has never once seemed to take notice. Felicity is a bit dumb, oblivious to things, and sometimes unintentionally insensitive, so to her...her interactions with Felicia are just fun and games...but to Felicia, they're just pushing her further away from the group. She feels as though she's sacrificed so much, the future she could have had, but her sister has never once sacrificed anything for her. She doesn't quite realize this frustration at its fullest until she meets Victoria and gets manipulated. Felicia is intelligent, but is easily swayed by the wolf's words...she begins to realize that she's not happy with the way of things are...and starts to find a sense of exhilaration in meeting up with Victoria. Instead of working things out with her sister...she decides to start throwing logic and thought out the window...turning herself over to a darker side, to what she believes is her own sort of freedom. Even though it turns out to be unhealthy, she just can't find it in her to care. She's having fun...and without her...the group of explorers may just fall apart. .

"How can I become someone else when...this is who I've been my entire life? Change...isn't as easy as people make it out to be, in fact, I find change quite difficult...I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the things that have changed since I've left home but I just can't seem to...it makes me feel pathetic..."

A faint sigh escaped a young strudel as she finally found herself with an opportunity to rest her weary limbs, breath coming out as puffs of visible air to accentuate the frigid winter weather, mingling above her before dissipating unceremoniously. Felicia knew it was much too cold out to be traversing so far away from camp, but these moments of solace, far from all those who stress her, have become something of a necessity to her. If she couldn't have this time to herself then surely she'd find herself going insane with the stress and exasperation that often clouded her thoughts. This was all she had in terms of an escape, a few brief moments of clarity each night where she could empty her mind, letting her thoughts slip loose like the steady movement of a stream so that she could be prepared for whatever she'd have to face in the upcoming day.

Felicia wasn't happy with her life.

Her triangular ears flattened as she delved into such negativity, but it was only the truth. Life was a dull, monotonous strife that Felicia felt as though she were losing the ability to keep up with. An existence where she put her all into making others happy...at the expense of her own self, it always seemed. Was that really fair? Or was this line of thinking selfish on her behalf? Absentmindedly, Felicia kicked at a pinecone that must have fallen from one of the many pine trees that surrounded her from all sides like magnificent, green skyscrapers. She had always been raised to act upon the benefits of others, minding her manners...obedient, she had worked hard to get into the good graces of the stern adults from her village, ever since she was a small child. Felicia had a whole future prepared in that village, one she gave up once her rambunctious, thoughtless sister fled to become a nomad. What was she to do, leave her to wander into her inevitable grave? Yet, in the most recent days, Felicia often found her thoughts flitting to what COULD have been. She was "destined for greatness", the elders had always spoken so highly of her, a very likely candidate for becoming a head-figure, which was a highly sought out position by the denizens of that village.

Her life would have been set, comfortable, yet she gave it all up, just like that, and there was no hope of ever returning, she knew she wouldn't be welcomed after such an act of abandonment. Felicia could never detest her younger sister, Felicity, but...the younger strudel often regarded her with nothing but blatant disrespect and mockery - she truly felt like the "butt monkey" of the group, to eloquently put it, despite working herself to exhaustion to ascertain that their operations ran smoothly and everyone remained safe. Felicity could be bad with her japes, but nobody took the cake more than her sister's menace of a girlfriend, Aspen. Just the thought of the jollybean caused a scowl to develop on Felicia's face, a seething, hot surge of disdain causing her to momentarily forget the frigid air around her. Aspen was more or less a bully, to say the least, but Felicity was so head-over-heels enamored with her that she never took notice...maybe her sister thought everything was all fun and games, she was never the sharpest tool in the shed, but even so, was it that difficult to take the feelings of other people into consideration? Felicia was getting quite sick of it, frankly, but continued to grin and bear it in order to keep the "peace" within their little group.

What would life have been like if she just remained in her village?

Felicia drew her knees to her chest, hugging them tightly in place in order to combat the chill. She wasn't happy with the way things were now...but, the truth was...she was uncertain if she'd be happy living a life as a village head-figure. All her life...Felicia acted as someone others could depend on, someone to carry out orders with a diligent sense of duty. But, the more she delved deeper into these thoughts, the more she began to realize that...she didn't exactly KNOW who she was other than that. Had Felicia ever been her own person? What would make HER happy? These were all questions she didn't have answers to, and it frustrated her to no end. She never really gave thought to such ideas in the past, it was when she met Victoria that she-

Felicia's ears perked as she caught the faint sound of paws crunching against the brittle, acrid blades of decaying grass and pine nettles. Ah, speak of the devil…

"It took you long enough," Felicia commented without turning to look at the creature encroaching upon her, she already knew who it was. "That nose of yours losing its luster with the colder weather?"

A faint snort was the initial response, before a deep and gruff voice, lacking any real warmth or emotion, simply responded, "got side-tracked."

"With what?" The strudel asked, curiously.

"Nothing important." The trickster was right beside her at this point, joining Felicia in a sitting position. The strudel pouted slightly but didn't press for any more information, Victoria wasn't the sort you could easily persuade answers from. Besides, she was likely doing more criminal conduct...Victoria WAS a notorious thief, after all, one her group was actually trying to apprehend. Yet...Felicia had been sneaking out every night without fail in order to meet up with her. She briefly wondered how Felicity and the others would react if they found out; her sister would surely have some sort of a fit. Ah, was it bad to admit the idea of their shocked and maybe repulsed expressions almost felt satisfying in a way to Felicia's imagination? The thing was...Victoria felt like the only person she could properly confide to, who understood her even a little. Was that pathetic? Seeking nightly console from a highly wanted criminal? Most likely, yeah. But...that's what made it feel so exhilarating in a way, the very fact that it WAS wrong. Maybe she was losing her mind a little...if present Felicia told past Felicia what she was currently doing, her past self would surely chew her out. But it didn't matter, Felicia didn't plan to stop nor did she really want to.

"Very well then," Felicia responded, nonchalantly. The two sat in silence for a few moments, a rather comfortable one, as they stared out into the dark distance of the night sky. Felicia would describe her relationship with this trickster as complicated...it wasn't as though they were friendly with each other in the slightest, yet Felicia still felt an odd sensation of warmth flutter through her chest every time she saw her nonetheless. Victoria seemed to know so much about her, yet the trickster was so stoic and enigmatic in nature that Felicia really couldn't say the same towards her. Other than the fact that she was a notorious criminal that was. She wished she could get the trickster to open up, but every subtle attempt was quickly shut down in a rather deadpan fashion. Still, she supposed it didn't really matter in the long run...as long as she could depend on the trickster for some solace from her everyday excursions then...things would be fine.

"You looked to be rather lost in thought earlier," Victoria commented after some time, still staring vacantly into nothingness. "Troubled, perhaps?"

"The usual," Felicia responded, unable to prevent a light sigh. "Was thinking...about the life I could have had..."

"You've truly given up a lot for your sister, haven't you?" The trickster murmured, sparing a glance at the strudel. "Tell me, what has she given up for you in exchange? Are the sacrifices you've laid truly worth it if you don't even receive the bare minimum of gratitude in the end?"

"I-well...." Felicia trailed off, unsure how she was even supposed to go about answering such a question. As usual, Victoria hit her right where it hurt...she was insanely astute, Felicia had to give her credit for that. She seemed to be able to read Felicia like a book, even from the moment they first met. Some might find it a tad creepy, but somehow Felicia appreciated it...there was something comforting about having someone who seemed to know so much about her (despite, y'know, her criminal background and all.) "I dunno...I just, it's just how it is, y'know? Sometimes you just have to grin and bear things for the people you care about..."

"I disagree with such a sentiment." Victoria replied with an almost-scoff on her face (it was seriously hard to decipher any expression on that blank countenance of hers), "What about how you feel? Does she even care for you?"

"W-well I'd like to think so...in her own dumbass way..." Felicia murmured but wasn't very confident in her answer. Victoria's words made her doubt herself.

"Maybe she does, maybe not, I'd lean more towards the latter...the thing is, though, that it doesn't matter. She's taking advantage of you, Felicia, and I think it's even worse if it's on a subconscious level."

The strudel remained quiet for a few moments, taking in Victoria's words before flashing her a quizzical look. "And why's that?"

"It means that she's never going to recognize this behavior, recognize how she treats you, how long has it been? She's never once noticed that you've been disgruntled, that you feel belittled...and if she TRULY cared...she'd figure this out for herself, you shouldn't have to bring such a thing up to her yourself." Victoria looked back at her, yellow eyes slightly narrowed as she awaited a response.

Felicia felt a surge of anger pass through, a small part of her questioned this logic of Victoria's, something didn't seem right...her sister DID care, right? Yet...she still continued to absolutely disrespect her and put her down, even if it was all meant as jokes...Felicity really SHOULD know better, shouldn't she? Really, why should Felicia have to say anything? They'd all just get annoyed with her if she spoke up anyway..."Felicia, way to be a killjoy, we're just joking", they'd likely say. Especially that stupid Aspen with her sarcastic quips and annoyingly haughty grin…

"You're clenching your fists," Victoria noted.

"....shit." Felicia slowly exhaled, allowing her paws to relax. Typically she was rather good at holding back her anger, but Victoria always seemed to evoke such emotions against the strudel's own will. She found herself at mercy to them. "Maybe that is the case, well...I just...ugh! What does it really matter? It's not like anything will ever change! I can't-I can't talk to them about it, they won't take me seriously...they never do, I'm just...Felicia the 'killjoy' the 'too serious' one and what would I do if I make the group awkward? So I just have to remain-"

"You care too much about what others think of you, is that right?"

"...yeah, maybe, that's how it's been my whole life, it's not as simple as just...'stop caring', it plagues my thoughts...I need to be useful to others or else I'm...what am I without that...?"

"What are you now though?"

"...huh?"

The trickster snorted, faintly shaking her head. "But what are you now? You're useful to others, do as you're told, but at what? The expense of your own personality? You have to think of the bigger picture."

Felicia was silent, hit right in her biggest insecurity and fear. No personality, huh? That's right...there really wasn't much to her than following orders and holding her tongue to keep peace. She was like...one of those 'robot' things she heard tale of, like she lacked a heart or some kind of substance that made her a 'person.' But even so…

"....I just...don't really know what to do about it though..." She meekly whispered, trying to keep the strong emotion out of her voice as she always did. "How can I become someone else when...this is who I've been my entire life? Change...isn't as easy as people make it out to be, in fact, I find change quite difficult...I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the things that have changed since I've left home but I just can't seem to...it makes me feel pathetic..." she chuckled in a self-deprecating manner, eyes resting wearily on the numerous pine needles underneath her.

"Then leave."

Felicia felt her eyes widen, head snapping up as she regarded Victoria with a bewildered look. "Pardon??"

"Leave this life, unlock the shackles that bind you...you're the only one who holds the key to them, after all. You remain in this piteous state because of a miserable complacency, it's time to move past it and free yourself. Leave them, Felicia...you can come with me instead." The trickster stared at her, yellow eyes seeming to pierce into the strudel's very soul. She felt more than flabbergasted at the offer, and it was likely more than evident on her face. Run off? With Victoria?? A criminal!? The very idea was simply absurd! And...yet…

"I-I couldn't just...do something like that..." Felicia mumbled after she managed to regain her composure, "I mean...I can't just leave them, y'know, without me-"

"They'll surely be sorry when you're gone, yes." Victoria interjected, shrugging as she spoke, "but they don't treat you right, and it doesn't seem like they ever will. They won't know what they had until it's gone, and you truly owe nothing to them."

"....I...." Felicia was frowning, deep in thought. Victoria's reasoning just felt...wrong somehow, unsettling, like something heavy and uncomfortable filtering through her chest. Yet, the trickster's words were stroking an ego within her she wasn't aware even existed. It felt, well, GOOD to hear someone say those things to her...even if, maybe, it was just manipulation. Was she being manipulated here? Did she...truly even CARE if she was? Would going off with Victoria really be such a terrible option? She was the only one who ever made Felicia feel...free, in a sense. Like she had a choice of her own; she could be whoever she desired without anything to tether her down. It was true that things seemed unlikely to change in her current situation...so why not just...run away? Felicia had to admit, the offer was severely tempting and she was rather shocked with herself by how much she wanted to just say yes. From a moral standpoint...it was absolutely insane, Felicia would surely be labeled as a criminal if she were to follow after the trickster. All her years of earning such a good, respectable reputation would go down the drain, as if it never existed in the first place, but that somehow seemed favorable to Felicia.

It'd be like pressing a reset button on her life, becoming a blank slate.

A second chance.

"I...can't decide this on the spot..." Felicia concluded after quite some minutes have passed. She looked towards her (companion?) expecting to see that typically blank expression she'd grown used to in response, but the slight ghost of a smirk on Victoria's countenance left her feeling startled (has she ever seen Victoria smile before? It looked quite nice, she had to admit, maybe even charming).

"You can take as long as you please to decide, or not decide at all." Victoria coyly responded as she rose to her feet, giving a quick stretch of her limbs. "After all...it's your life, your decision, I cannot rush that."

"U-umm..." Felicia wished she had something more intelligent to say, but her brain seemed to be failing on her; thoughts running a mile a minute.

"I just ask that you perhaps give it some thought, that is all." The trickster seemed to hesitate, before resting a paw on top of Felicia's head, keeping clear of her horn. The strudel felt every muscle in her body stiffen instinctively, before she quickly relaxed, savoring the brief instance of contact. Victoria always seemed so cold and brisk in appearance, but her touch was surprisingly warm...comforting even.

As quickly as it happened it ended though, a faint spark unlikely to reignite anytime soon. Victoria returned her paw to her side as she turned to face the opposite direction. "I must depart for the night, I'll see you tomorrow, of course." And without waiting for a response of any sort, Victoria ambled away, leaving Felicia to stare after her in utter confliction.

"My life...my decision, huh?" She whispered to herself, gazing up at the inky black sky as though hoping the twinkling stars might provide some answers. "What would make ME happy?"

She remained that way for a while longer, before deciding she ought to head back to camp in order to get at least a few hours of sleep before the next day's excursion. Slowly, almost reluctantly, she began her trek back, carefully maneuvering herself through the darkness. Felicia was always the sort to think things through in a critical manner...to apply logic to a situation before jumping to a conclusion. When it came to this matter, however, 'logic' seemed to be avoiding her fancy.

Maybe, just maybe...it was about time Felicia stopped using her head for a change...and listen to her heart instead.

Maybe.

For now, though she'd carry on as she normally did, and would likely continue to do so for many days to come...but Victoria's offer would persist within her thoughts, burning…

And the flames were only sure to get bigger, stronger, with each passing day until, eventually, she might succumb to them…

However, Felicia found that she no longer felt quite so concerned over getting burnt. If the flames of this dangerous, fiery passion were to engulf her…

So be it.

Horn Charge

Strength:

A charge attack utilizing the horn on her head. Whilst it is easy to dodge, a direct hit can cause quite some damage as the horn is rather sharp. This attack can take quite a bit of stamina, and a miss can result in a crash.

Claw Strike

Strength:

An attack that utilizes the claws, scratching at an opponent. The amount of damage dealt varies depending on where the claws hit and how they make contact.

Analyse

Strength:

A skill that doesn’t do any damage but instead allows Felica to study her opponent in order to decipher any weaknesses. If a weakness can be detected Felicia can use the information to turn the tide of a battle. However, this skill sometimes requires time and can be difficult to use in the heat of battle. It is best utilized when observing the opponent fighting someone else.

Story

12256976_e6RvRROjuEFDuQ9.png

Felicia's origins were, more or less, humble in nature. She was born as the first child to a respectable family within a quaint village located in the house of an elderly human cake-decorator. The citizens in this village were always expected to adhere to the code set forth by the founding Midveilers and worked hard and carefully to honor the strange human creature they reside with. The denizens couldn't see or understand this creature properly, but they did know that she was responsible for crafting all the beautiful desserts in the house, and her hard-work had charmed and motivated the villagers to live such an industrious and orderly sort of lifestyle. Felicia was often doted on and praised by the adults, she never once failed an order and always acted so calmly and politely. As she aged, many considered her to be the next candidate for one of the "Village Heads" when she would become an adult. She felt rather complacent with herself and the future being imposed upon her at such a young age, she considered her life to be peaceful...that was, until, Felicity became a part of it.

Felicity was born a few years after Felicia and had been rather erratic since the moment she emerged from her egg. Their parents were ecstatic at first, they held excitement in the idea of Felicia mentoring her little sister to be as behaved and well-mannered as she was. If they could have two well-behaved children then the villagers would regard their family with nothing but reverence. Felicia was fine with this task and felt endearment towards her baby sister, but that endearment quickly became frustration as the months passed and Felicity grew to be a carefree wild-child. Felicity didn't care about the village's rules, or what the elders thought of her, she just wanted to have fun and seek thrill. Felicia did her best to try and maintain her sister's boisterous personality, but Felicity never wanted to listen to her. She looked down on Felicia for being such a "goody-two-shoes stick-in-the-mud" and never showcased an ounce of respect towards her. The twosome often clashed because of their huge difference in ideals and personality and, whenever together, a conversation would quickly turn into an argument. All the other villagers, even their parents, considered Felicity a lost cause, but Felicia didn't want to give up on her like that. Despite their contrasting personalities, Felicia still did care about her and wanted her to succeed.

One day, however, Felicity snuck out of the village in order to secure herself a filling...she ended up ruining a cake created by the human whose house they resided in. The human, believing the tiny bite marks on her cake to be the workings of mice, called for exterminators and had her home sprayed down. The villagers, unable to withstand the chemicals, had no choice but to leave their home...the entirety of the village itself had to be relocated completely, outside of the human household they have remained in for years. Since that day, the villagers grew a deep detestment for Felicity, all except Felicia who just felt deeply sad for her, but she never attempted to reach out and console her in order to save face. One night, Felicity up and ran away from the village, never returning, and Felicia spent countless days drowning herself with worry over her sister's absence. She had herself a fine life in the village and a promising future ahead of her, she was quite content with her situation and strong reputation but...the idea of Felicity getting hurt out in the world beyond was just too much to bear, so Felicia decided one day she would go after her. She left her village in secret, knowing it would shame her parents and the elders who had such high expectations for her. There would most likely be no coming back, and she begrudgingly accepted that.

After days of searching, she finally stumbled across Felicity in a forest (having heard her whereabouts from some local Midveilers) and, although she was still a bit cross at what Felicity did to the village, she decided to withhold the scolding and asked her sister for permission to join her. Felicity was beyond flabbergasted, she and Felicia could never see eye to eye and she was kinda bossy and boring but...truthfully she was a bit relieved to not have to be totally alone, so she accepted. Felicia and Felicity began their lives as adventurers; exploring the lands, uncovering treasures and helping others in need! Felicity was very gung-ho about this and had huge dreams of making a name for herself. Felicia, however, hardly shared the enthusiasm and viewed this lifestyle as exhausting and stressful. She hankered to return to the peaceful simplicity of her old village, but her desire to keep Felicity safe remained stronger. Felicity, whilst brave and passionate, was very reckless and naive and often found herself in troublesome situations. Felicia acted, more or less, as an advisor to keep her sister from getting herself killed. However, Felicity would never seem to showcase much appreciation or respect towards her sister and oftentimes would ignore her advice. Felicia always thought the two would maybe grow closer together, but she finds herself becoming more and more frustrated as time goes on. She internalizes this, however, so Felicity never seems to take notice of her true feelings. As days pass...Felicia feels more bitter towards her lifestyle, often thinking of the life she gave up. What Felicia isn't aware of, however, is that Felicity indeed begins to respect her and appreciate her along the way, but has so much fun goofing around and teasing her that it never quite shows.

During their travels, the duo met a trickster by the name of Bailey in an overgrown cornfield. Bailey was blind, but even so, had a sense of pride within her and remained in the fields for years in order to protect it from the sorts of beasts that took her eyesight. Felicity took an immediate liking to the trickster and attempted to get on her good side, while Felicia remained more cautious and observant. She had never interacted with a trickster before, only having heard unsavory tales about them from the village elders. It was a bit difficult for Felicia to let go of her skewered perception and learn to trust Bailey, but seeing the trickster's dedication and work-ethic, Felicia made no objections when Felicity recruited her to their team. Bailey was reluctant at first but ultimately decided to travel alongside them. Felicia deeply appreciates her level-headedness and will often seek out her company when she is feeling particularly stressed, but isn't close enough to completely confide in her.

Their fourth party member presented herself to them some months later, a jollybean by the name of Aspen who happened to spot them in the forest one day and came to harass the trio out of boredom. Felicia and Bailey found themselves annoyed, but Felicity in her eager friendliness didn't let the rude and impetuous jolly bother her and instead befriended her. The two really hit it off, but Aspen's introduction into their group was what made Felicia's life a little more like hell. She already took issue to Felicity messing around and teasing her, but with Aspen, it was all taken up a notch. Unlike Felicity, who thought it was all just fun and games and didn't actually realize Felicia's true feelings (Felicity is very oblivious to people's feelings, her thoughts are often elsewhere), Aspen understood that the teasing DID bother Felicia yet did it anyway...often taking it far enough for Bailey to intervene at times. Felicia found herself loathing this jolly, but remained polite and courteous, not letting it show that she got under her skin. Aspen always just followed after Felicity's lead but took a disliking to Felicia because she could sense the strudel's slight detestment towards her sister and wasn't at all happy about it. Aspen did admittedly want to cause Felicia grief, but even she didn't predict Felicia ever doing anything about it. As for that time though, Felicia just grinned and bore it, but her heart was only drifting further and further away from the group, and possibly from herself for that matter.

The squad continued their adventures for many moons and started to finally make somewhat of a title for themselves amongst other adventurous Midveilers. One day, during a trip to a village, the trio learned of an infamous outlaw that seemed to be causing quite a stir amongst the denizens. This particular outlaw was known as the 'Untouchable Theif', a wolfish fiend who stole valuable items from other Midveilers and wasn't afraid to harm those that got in their way. Upon hearing this news, Felicity decided it was up to their group to put an end to this nefarious criminal's misdeeds. Felicia wasn't exactly for this idea, she found it much too dangerous but still agreed to it in the end. They began to garner as much information as possible for the next few weeks. During one night, Felicia decided to take a solo stroll through the woods in order to clear her cluttered thoughts. The area was dark, but she didn't feel a bit nervous, that was until she felt a pair of eyes piercing her. As calmly as possible, she demanded this stalker to reveal themself, and so they did. Out from the shadows stepped a dark, menacing-looking trickster...wolfish in appearance. Immediately, Felicia recognized who this was from the vague descriptions on the Wanted posters, it was the 'Untouchable Thief.' The two scrutinized each other, the thief not appearing phased in the slightest by Felicia's nervous glare. After a few moments passed, the trickster stepped forward and spoke to Felicia in a slight whisper,

"aren't you tired of how things are?"

Felicia was confused at this unexpected question but was finding it difficult to properly think with the wolf in such close proximity to her...something wasn't right about the emotions she was feeling at the moment. She couldn't help but fixate on the various scars and marks on the wolf's body, the heat of her breath and, most notably, the intensity in her eyes. It made Felicia's head reel in a way that increased her temper tenfold. She didn't know what sort of stupidity came over her, but Felicia charged forward in an attempt to attack this detestable wolf. The thief merely jumped back, continuing to speak in her low voice; "I know much about your group...I've been watching you four...you're obviously the one with the most sense, yet you constantly get brushed off, unappreciated, mocked."

Felicia knew, deep down, this wolf was trying to manipulate her and get under her skin...it was WORKING though and she felt herself getting more and more pissed at the truth of those words, feelings she had always tried to keep buried for the sake of her team. She tried desperately to land a hit on the wolf, but never managed to touch her once. Meanwhile, the wolf seemed to appear on her from all sides, pummeling her down. Once Felicia was on the ground, too exhausted to continue, the wolf hovered over her with the same blank-eyed expression. "Pitiful..." she had mocked. "I guess you're not really worth anyone's respect." And with that she left Felicia to lie there, stewing in feelings she had never felt before.

Rage, hatred...(attraction?)

She remained on the ground for a while to collect her bearings before managing to push herself up and return to the campsite, making herself look more presentable along the way. She never mentioned what happened to the others the next day, but the event seemed to haunt her from that point forward. Felicia just couldn't seem to get the wolf out of her mind, she was distracted and no longer as insightful or "bossy" as usual, in fact, she was acting so out of character that the others began to worry about her, but Felicia would just keep brushing off their concerns. As much as she felt disdain towards the wolf, she couldn't help but long to see her again. She couldn't help but repeat the words she spoke in her mind over and over...and in turn, began to realize just how much of an impact they had on her, how absolutely unhappy she was with the way things currently were. Her wish was granted when, on another night maybe 2 weeks later, she decided to sneak off on her own again. And lo and behold the fiendish thief was awaiting her some distance away from camp. This time, however, she didn't attack the wolf but merely allowed herself to talk to her. The thief was a smooth talker, hitting all the buttons Felicia so desperately needed pushed,

"You're the one who carries that group...you should garner respect, not mockery."

Those words lingered in Felicia's mind, finally...someone who saw the worth in her, who didn't purposely try to piss her off or put her down. She finally felt as though someone saw worth in her again, and thus she began to meet up with the wolf in secret every night after the others fell asleep. She learned that the thief's name was Victoria, and whilst the two still seemed to act as though they were enemies, Felicia began to feel completely enamored by her and Victoria was astute enough to notice this. One night, Victoria offered Felicia to join her, insisting that she'd treat her way better than her current group did. Felicia was a bit conflicted, and thinking things over she would feel guilty for abandoning her sister and the group. But...as her thoughts drifted to how they constantly berated and teased her, ignoring her suggestions and making her feel less, anger began to bubble up. She realized she's been happier spending time with Victoria than she had ever been adventuring with the others. Truth be told, both Felicia and Felicity were at blame. Felicia shouldered these feelings of disgruntlement for the sake of the team, yet felt upset that nobody seemed to take notice anyway, but still refused to say anything. Felicity, however, was completely oblivious and thought it was really all fun and games and it was just their "fun dynamic", so she's been hurting Felicia all this time and expanding the distance between them without even realizing it. If the two could just properly communicate...surely they could reach an agreement...but, Felicia was too tempted by Victoria's offer. Truth be told, Victoria invoked a sense of exhilaration and thrill through the strudel that she hadn't felt before. She made her feel free...as if she could be her own person and not what anyone else wanted of her. So, ultimately, she accepted Victoria's offer on the spot and ran off with her...becoming a criminal as well. She discarded her morality, her sensibilities...all the thoughts that tied her down in order to live a life with reckless abandon all whilst Victoria is secretly pulling the strings. Meanwhile...the group of adventurers begins to break down without Felicia to help guide them...but Felicity is heartbroken and doesn't understand why since Felicia always hid her feelings and never communicated. From this point onwards...the adventurers and Felicia are enemies, which was Victoria's plan all along; to divide their group.

Relationships

Felicity

Younger Sister

Felicia and Felicity never seemed to get along in their younger days, both being polar opposites from one another. Felicity was always too rambunctious and reckless, getting into trouble which Felicia tried to scold her for. They'd often butt heads, but deep down Felicia truly cares about her sister and wants to keep her safe, which is why she gave up her set future to go after her once she ran away. The two have issues communicating with one another, Felicia believes Felicity doesn't respect her and is oftentimes the butt of her sister's jokes and tomfoolery. In reality, however, Felicity does truly grow to respect her older sister, but she has a sort of naive and unhealthy mindset that her behavior is harmless and just "all in good fun." With Felicia shouldering her emotions, there is no way Felicity could figure out how she truly feels (she's very emotionally oblivious and unintentionally insensitive) and thus continues to tease her and berate her quite often. Felicia finds herself growing more and more detached from her with each passing day.

Victoria

Enemy (Crush?)

Felicia's feelings towards this trickster are very messy and complicated. From a moral standpoint, Victoria is her enemy. She's a notorious thief after all, and Felicia feels very strongly about her own moral code. However, Victoria is very astute when it comes to reading others and knows quite well how to manipulate Felicia. Her words let loose all the emotions the strudel had been quietly shouldering for so long. She begins to feel as though Victoria is the only one who appreciates and understands her, becoming quite enamored with the thief, until she was eventually convinced to join her on "the side of darkness". Victoria gives her feelings of thrill and exhilaration, and she quickly latches onto that although it's pretty obviously one-sided.

Bailey

Friend

Out of everyone in the explorers group, Felicia holds the most respect for Bailey. Initially, she was wary of the trickster, but over time she came to really respect and find comfort in her down-to-earth nature. She admired the Trickster's bravery and determination despite being blind. However, Felicia doesn't feel particularly close enough to express herself to Bailey, and Bailey can be a bit oblivious when it comes to reading the air, so she's not exactly anyone Felicia feels she could depend on. At least Bailey doesn't often take a part in any tomfoolery or teasing, just a prank from time to time, but the trickster is so mellow and lax that she likely just doesn't often notice that anything is amiss.

Aspen

”Co-Worker”

Felicia hates this Jollybean, absolutely and undeniably. Every since Aspen had joined their group she had been nothing but a nuisance and a bad impression on Felicity. Felicia considers Aspen to be a bully, the jolly teases her to the point where it feels like she's actually trying to purposely irritate Felicia (and she is). While Aspen's intentions aren't malicious in nature, the way she's going about trying to get Felicia to truly express herself is pretty unhealthy. Felicia puts up a polite front around the jollybean for the sake of the team, but there are often instances where the strudel almost loses her composure around her, just wanting to scream quite a selection of profanities. Aspen is a bit detached in a sense...she's aware of how her actions might affect people but she doesn't particularly care. Yet, the combination of disrespect from both her and Felicity pushes Felicia over the edge.
