Habitat

Saurons are native to tropical jungle climates, climbing and hunting in the trees and lower underbrush. Their short fur is water resistant.

Behaviorisms

Saurons are social predatory pack animals that operate similar to a pack/family of wolves. They are rarely solitary, though its not unheard of for rogue adults to traverse the jungles alone. They maintain large territory areas in groups

Hunting & Diet

Saurons are predators who hunt common jungle creatures, though they will also eat fruits. They rarely eat leafy greens if not an emergency.

Reproduction

Sauron reproduce in the typically mammal way. They have 2-3 pups per litter and typically have long term to lifetime mates

Life Cycle

Sauron live among their packs until they are adults around 7 years old, at which point they decide to stay or leave. 

Health

Sauron are hearty creatures, but don't handle cold and freezing temperatures well

Communication

They communicate in growls and grumbles, but can learn simple language of the common tongue and learn to interpret it. 

Description

Sauron are creatures that dwell deep in the jungles of Vledeon, living in pack hunting tribes among the tangled forest trees. They are native hunters to the deep dense undergrowth and one of the tops of the food chain with small exceptions. They harbor a deep attachment to nature as a culture and are often the chosen form of druidic sorcerers in the jungle lands. They are common known creatures but are generally regarded as wild and undomesticated in modern society. Which is mostly a lack of desire to understand 'human' modern culture as they're very traditional and adhere dedicatedly to their ways and customs. They tend to avoid humans in general and have a typical fear/disdain of their machinery and cities.

They are mammals with predatory instincts, similar to a big cat but with thinner builds that suit running through tangled undergrowth. While they can climb, it is not preferred. They are smaller than common jungle cats like leopards/jaguar; but benefit from hunting in packs.
