personality; 

A very sassy, confident and determined woman. When she knows what she wants, she absolutely won't stop until she gets it. Even if it means grueling hard work, it's all worth it, as she's normally working first and foremost for her son. She's a very protective mother hen, maybe to an annoying fault, but she's been hurt too many times by others to easily let people into their lives. Once you're in her circle, she'll extend her protective hand to you as well. Much like her son, she's not afraid to speak her mind and prefers the truth over any sort of sugar coating. In fact, sugar coating often upsets her.

• A youthful personality for her age and for being a mother. She can be caught at bars occassionally- she doesn't party or go clubbing these days though (not anymore!).
  
• Actually a great cook, given her questionable motherly skills.
  

notable relationships;

• Chris Lennox, son: Her only child and now, only family. This little boy means the world to her, and every decision she makes has him in mind. However, because of their tight situation, she has to push more adult responsibilities on him than he may be ready for. She will use language and topics he may, again, not be ready for, but he's grown up so quickly in their situation it seems like nothing anymore. The two are dependent on each other.
  
• Vince Miller, ex-boyfriend: The man that she dated, knocked her up, and left. They don't meet again for many, many years, when they are both much more matured adults. At first Crystal feels nothing but contempt for him, but the two frequent the same bar and end up warming up to one another once more. It's a slow process, and becomes shaky once they learn he's a part of the group that's trying to take out her own group. There's clearly a deep care that they're scared to reach for here, but it will come to break as Crystal is murdered before they could rekindle anything.
