Kacey comes off as an airhead and sometimes has trouble remembering important things. He is a selective mute, and doesn't really speak to anyone unless he absolutely trusts them. He spends a lot of his time in his fox form, mostly sleeping.

To put things simply, Kacey doesn't remember how old he is. It's suspected that he spent the majority of his life asleep at the bottom of a well, only awakening when he was discovered by his friend Amethyst. He is rarely seen without her, spending most of his time in Amethyst's backpack. He is a fan of soft things, such as blankets and stuffed animals.
