Profile

Fabriss is a young lady, born to the noble house of Trevelyan in Eastwick, in the Free Marches.
When she was a child, she was taught the behaviour of a noble and everything that was important to her family – the Chantry and the Templar Order. Following her familiy’s traditions, Fabriss later joined the Templars, and was eventually knighted for her loyal services by Empress Selene. Despite growing up in a family with a certain view on the world, Fabriss is a kind and caring person who shows a lot of respect to others regardless of race and life standards. Furthermore, she’s got strong conviction and supports Thedas as much as possible. She doesn’t feel much like a noble and despises most of her kind because of their haughty behaviour.

After the Breach appeared over Thedas and the Inquisition was initiated, Fabriss immediately decided to travel to Haven in order to join the inquisition and help save her country. When she asked her family to also join, she was rejected by most of the members and left in disappointment. She made her way to Haven all alone to meet the Inquisitor, a Qunari woman by the name of Pahanaa, and her allies.
Pleased for this young knight’s will to join, Pahanaa accepted her request and admitted her to the Inquisition.

From this moment on Fabriss paved the inquisition’s way together with the others. She also becomes familiar with the new members, who quickly become friends.
One of them is the kind-hearted dwarf Thoralf, who joined the inquisition in order to fight for his family. The two develop a strong friendship and also form a great team in battles.
She also befriends her teammate Tasmyn. Tasmyn is a Dalish elven mage who helped her to intigrate more into her team, something she’s really grateful for.
Later on, when Ferendiel, a young elven rogue, joins the inquisition, Fabriss is directly confronted with the human-elven conflict for the first time.

Ferendiel, who grew up in an alienage of a human city and only experienced the human’s loathing for his kind, claimed to hate humans. He is out of sorts with Fabriss due to her noble origins. Fabriss, however, doesn’t accept their silent war and searched his nearness to confront him about it. In the beginning, they always ended up in never-ending debates. Ferendiel soon realized that not every human is bad. Fabriss and Ferendiel often protect each other in battle. Realizing, that this human is obviously risking her life for him made Fabriss grow on him. After some time, Fabriss realized that she’s actually grown feelings for him too, and the pair end up in a relationship. It is also Ferendiel who taught her about the elven culture and Fabriss really seems to have an affinity for it.

Ultimately, after Corypheus is defeated and Thedas is safe again, Fabriss intended to return to her family. She was welcomed with outrage by them for being in a relationship with an elf.
Having lost the respect to her closest family members, Fabriss decides to leave for Ferendiel, whom she deeply loves and was never seen in Ostwick again.
Invited by her fellow inquisition team member and close friend, Tasmyn Wynrior of Lavellan, both later join the Lavellan Clan, a clan of Dalish elves and start their own life.
That makes Fabriss the first human, ever known to be accepted by a Dalish clan. Fabriss later on becomes the mother to Ferendiels two children, Lyllien and Arvor.
