A security platform designed by a private tech company whose AI ends up learning way more naturally than they anticipate. The platform ends up being pretty friendly with the team of scientists that made them (thinks of them as their pack). As such, their role expands beyond simple security enforcement (though they still do that with frightening efficiency when need be) into helping with experiments and occasionally being a test subject themselves. They volunteer themselves for this since their pain receptors can be disabled, allowing them to be dismantled and repaired.
