Stormstar is a black and white tom with blue eyes.
Storm and Bolt were born to two loners, Raindrop and Fire, in a shed. They lived there for a while, until the twolegs found out and took matters into their own hands during leaf-bare. Raindrop and Fire were shot dead, Bolt went missing, and Storm nuzzled himself into the roots of a tree.
Owlblaze, deputy of MeadowClan and mate to Silverstar, found the little kit freezing to death. They brought him back and Silverstar took him in with her own litter, which was a single tom named Graykit. They debated on names for a bit (Blizzardkit or Snowkit being too on the nose, Crowkit not fitting right, etc) they ironically settled on Stormkit. Stormkit grew up with his new family, his old life seeming like a distant dream, even more so when he was apprenticed to Chiveleg. He later becomes Stormblaze, as requested by himself in honor of Owlblaze who had died of greencough.
He and his friend Honeyfoot become mates, with Honeyfoot making the first move. The pair often frolic in the meadows together after Honeyfoot expresses that it would be nice if she had someone with her on her walks. This continues even when Stormblaze gains Shadowpaw as an apprentice, then when he's appointed deputy under Chivestar, and when he is thrust into leadership as Stormstar not even a week later. One of his toughest acts as leader was to exile his former apprentice, Shadowheart, when he becomes reckless and out of control. Despite the turmoil, he and Honeyfoot soon have their own daughter named Heatherberry.
When Stormstar investigates a strange scent, he confronts and attacks a ginger rogue. A similar facial scar indicates that it was Bolt, his long lost brother. He invites him to stay in MeadowClan with open arms and he accepts. Turns out, he has MeadowClan connections as the father to Wildcherry's kits and a prophecy where he is to kill Shadowheart when he returns. He does, but eventually dies from his wounds.
Moons later, a pair of young cats are dropped off on the border and become Lunapaw and Pinepaw. The two seemingly grow up normal enough, and he names them Lunaclaw and Pineneedle.
Leaf-bare rolls around. Honeyfoot goes on her walk still and does not come back. Her body is found in the snow, clearly murdered, and Stormstar is devastated. A moon passes and he is still grieving his mate, in which Lunaclaw finds her time to strike. She takes a life from him but is crushed by a falling branch. He is left with fresh trauma, always wondering when yet another cat will betray him.
Stormstar eventually dies from kidney failure, being regarded as one of the greatest leaders of all time.
