Lil Baal was once a mortal boy, who's life was filled with nothing but cruelty and loneliness. 

His parents leaving him behind, he lived on his own until he finally succumbed to starvation and hypothermia.

Mother having a strong affection towards children, and infants, followed the small boy's path all throughout his short life.

Upon his death she offered him a choice of going to the pearly gates, or vengeance upon those who needlessly afflict pain on their children, and the cowardess and blind eye of strangers.

As years and decades pass, the small boy loses his memory of the time before; his mind only filled now with the warmth of his new Mother's love, as she cradles him to sleep every night.
