He lived in a small village that overlooked a valley in the mountains. He had a normal childhood before his untimely death. Although, always a sickly child he rarely went outside and couldn't play with the other kids his age. He spent most of the time inside reading books about adventures, magical creatures and heroes. When he was around 10, his parents allowed him to go outside on occasions, whether to sit and read or accompany them to the market.

His death was sudden. After wandering off into the surrounding woods, he stumbled across a group of kids playing hide and seek. The young boy joined them for a few rounds before it got dark. In the darkness, he tripped and fell off the cliff. As he hit the ground, a sharp branch pierced his right eye, signature to his death. He now takes on the appearance of a ghost, his skin tone a pale and opaque blue. No one knows how or why he manifested into a physical spectre.

Physical Spectre: An entity that has the likeness to a normal spirit. They are often invisible and made of plasma, some are able to possess certain objects or beings. This entity can turn into any physical form, become visible and harness their own plasma to create physically destructive beams of energy. They can retain a physical form for long periods time but it drains a lot of their energy so most avoid it. Possession does not require energy or plasma.

Tanner eventually met Toxic and Medallion by coincidence and the trio struck up a friendship. The latter creating a special pair of gloves that allow the ghost boy to be able to touch physical objects without expending his energy or plasma. These gloves also assist in concentrating beams of plasma. The trio became close friends and Tanner stuck with them. He copies the aging of Toxic and Medallion with his appearance.

His current appearance consists of piercings on his ears and through his nose, a spiked collar, and spiked wristbands. He gathered a liking to the "edgier" and more "punk" fashion style.
