Frequently touted as the strongest mage in the city and one of the best in the world, Elias is a man with boundless confidence that feeds into his callous and merciless behavior when fighting. He begin as a mere student at the Academy, but quickly gained renown for his unique ability to simultaneously manipulate the basic magic types. Note that this is not tied to his special magic, Scorched Caliburn, which manifests magical swords dipped in flames. By the time he entered high school, he'd gained recognition abroad and what had once been a kind, modest child was a young, flirtatious man brimming with confidence that bordered on arrogance.
Perhaps this arrogance was the cause of the Awakening.
Sometimes they call him the fool who brought XYZ upon the world, but sometimes still they say he is the harbinger, the king of mages who knows no rival on the battlefield. As long as he wields his forbidden sword ɹ̴̙͋n̶̥̾̉q̴͕͉͒ᴉ̴̮̫̀̊̿ľ̷͇̣͒ɐ̶̪̖̜̈̋ɔ̷̮͎̺̍ͅx̷̛̥Ǝ̶͍̐̾ he appears to have no match. A relic from the XYZ, Elias carries it with him wherever he goes.

Although one would think his magic would be classified as creation due to Elias' ability to create multiple swords, the precise control exerted upon them are more fitting of a manipulation type. One could think of his magic as manipulation of magic energy, rather than creating something itself.
