The ash element includes physical "aspects" of the world (light, fire, water, earth, and air) and is the most common element. Its users can manipulate one or several of these aspects to their will. Ash is the counterpart to the intangible divine element.

Flow
Flow is a base aspect of the Ash Fysa which governs liquids.
This is an active fysa. Flow manipulation grants the ability to sense liquids, especially water, more keenly. Its users can sense fish and other creatures inside the water, and can sense the presence of water at a distance of 100 meters (109 yards) even if they cannot see it due to walls or obstructions.
Water can be manipulated to make a swimmer faster, or to hinder someone in the water by creating currents. Water can be levitated in the air in globules, trapping fish or objects.
The state of liquids cannot be changed.
Heat
Heat is a base aspect of the Ash Fysa which governs heat and flame.
This is an active fysa. Users can sense heat more keenly. Its users can 'see' heat vision instead of light vision, though their vision is obscured by barriers which prevent heat waves from coming through.
A user is normally heat resistant, less likely to be burned by fire and other heat sources (they can disperse the heat right back into the air). They are good at regulating their body's temperature, able to hold onto heat for longer or disperse it faster.
One can manipulate fire, though it's hard to keep it from burning things and it will snuff out without fuel.
Beacon - Light
Light is a part of the Beacon Aspect, which is made by combining Flow and Heat.
This is an active fysa. Users have lowlight vision and the ability to absorb light straight out of the atmosphere, creating temporary shadows and dark spots. They can release light as orbs back into the air to shed light on an area. Lights can be absorbed and stored for up to an hour, and many use it for distance communication or fishing.
When light is stored, the body glows. A user can normally control where they glow, though the more light they hold, the harder it is to limit it to certain areas. When full of light, even the eyes/ears/mouth glows. Unlike a rrex's halo, light manipulation is purely physical and not influenced by emotion.
Two or more users (OR a user and a daemon) can create hard light structures which behave like solid surfaces and last temporarily.
Beacon - Fractal
Fractal is a part of the Beacon Aspect, which is made by combining Flow and Heat. You must have already learned either Flow or Heat in order to learn this ability.
This is an active fysa. Users have the ability to sense repeating patterns, weaknesses, and fragility, both in physical substances and behaviors. This extends further to being able to manipulate ice, snow, and crystals.
The murk element is the most unrefined element, and is identified by its energy excess. Murk can often amplify the effects of other magics, or overpower others by sheer force. Murk is the opposite of clear.

Retain - Storage
Storage is a part of the Retain Aspect of the Murk Fysa.
This is a passive fysa. Users' threshold of being poisoned is heightened, and they can hold inordinate amounts of fysa in the body safely. All mucus membranes are stained iridescent black as a result.
Users can spend several days in the ocean before needing to take a break (though said break will need to be a few days to metabolize and break down the fysa unless they have Burnoff or Vent). They can eat most fysa contaminated foods without worry.
Retain - Poison Body
Poison Body is a part of the Retain Aspect of the Murk Fysa.
This is a passive fysa. Users' flesh and blood causes fysa poisoning to those who try to eat them. Their saliva can cause euphoria, but it is not as dangerous.
The blood element is one of two types of change elements. Blood is known as a healing element, one that takes advantage of and encourages the natural functions of the body. It can speed the body healing itself, as well as fast-forward and rewind growth. Blood is the opposite of marrow.

Gain - Adapt
Adapt is a part of the Gain Aspect of the Blood Fysa.
This is a passive fysa. A user can become more hardy to disease, the elements, and general minor damage through frequent exposure.
Their body is less likely to take to bruising or spraining. They are highly unlikely to be infected by diseases of any kind. Once exposed to weather or environmental injury (poison, cold, heat) they become resistant to that type of injury for the next few days.
Loss - Abatement
Abatement is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.
This is an active fysa. Users can take a portion of another's pain to share it and make it easier to endure. It is up to the user to decide how much pain to take-- from 20-80% of it.
Users can also inflict their pain onto others with a touch. They can only give 20-80% of their own pain.
The alloy element is one of two types of progress elements. Alloy-ists conduct fysa through themselves to create something new. It includes the creation of plasts. Alloy is the opposite of clay.

Synthesis - Talent
Talent is a part of the Synthesis Aspect of the Alloy Fysa. All humans start with this fysa.
This can be either an active or passive fysa. Every user has a unique effect based off their personality and their life experiences. Some examples are fishermen who subtly manipulate the waves, gamblers with high luck, or gardeners with a green thumb. A talent can even go as far as mimicking the effects of other elements-- shooting fire out of a fingertip, filtering fysa out of the air, or changing eye color at will. These should be pretty minor powers though!
Coda - Human
This ability allows a daemon to assume their own unique form based on another sentient species (normally the same species as their partner, but not always). They also get the base (default) fysa of that species in addition to their daemon fysa.
A daemon who has reached the Coda state has also reached independence. Their identity is strong enough to exist on their own, even if their partner dies and they do not rebond. They can sever and create bonds as their relationships and life cirumstances change (they can still only be bonded to one person at a time for using their fysa). They are fully sentient and adult.
They also become mortal, being able to feel pain and bleed and die. They can temporarily re-assume daemon shape to become sturdier, but can only hold this form for up to an hour
A daemon in Coda state's eyes can be either magisensitive or photosensitive, in any combination. Focus eyes are not required, but can normally be found in similar locations on the body as their daemon form.
Ash - Manifest: Water
Daemons can manifest and control a small amount of a single base aspect of ash: Flow, Heat, or Land. They can only control their summoned aspect, not a pre-existing source of it. Element color varies.
Clay - Camouflage
Daemons can shapeshift their texture and color temporarily to blend in with their environment or with other creatures.

- While the pupil on his right eye (which is also his focus eye) is hard to see, it is actually diamond-shaped, similar to Stole's, though the eye color mostly resembles Leto's.
- Ymir hates lettuce. It's his least favorite food.
- Since much of Ymir's existence was spent underground, he actually has no idea how old he is or how much time has passed since his birth or achieving Coda.
- He's primarily left-handed, though he can use his non-dominant hand equally as well on many tasks due to necessity.
- His talent allows him to make others feel a slight chill. However, this ability does not allow him to actually change ambient temperature. It is merely an illusory sensation of cold.
