General design rules
When the character is yours you're allowed to change whatever you like about the character, as long as the original design is kept in it's gallery and I'm marked as the creator.
Regarding trade:
Once a character is traded you can't resell it, unless additional paid for art is included (so excluded is art you received via trade, gift, raffle, ...). You can then only resell for the worth of the paid for artwork
Once gifted:
If you received a character as a gift (in other words for free), you're not allowed to resell or trade the character only gift. Exception if you have added art (if it's paid artwork you can resell the character for the worth of the artwork. Your own art does not count)
