Castiel is quite the risk-taker and often finds herself wishing for more out of her life on the high mountain tops.
A bit too energetic for her own good, Castiel is often looking for things to do. It's not uncommon for her to bother Delphi or her mother for even the smallest thing to do. At least as long as it has nothing to do with telling other people what to do. Castiel couldn't be any less interested in Delphi's job despite the attempts to get her to be.
It can be hard to stand out as the middle child, but Castiel certainly tries to. She wants to help those around her beyond what is expected of her to one day help run the High Roost. She has big dreams! And she is driven to achieve them one way or another. Even if it means breaking a few rules here and there.

Soul magicSoul magic is something that everyone possesses and can use. Skygliders are above humans in terms of their threshold of magic, but are still fairly limited from the more powerful spells soul magic can preform.
With her magic, Castiel is able to use raw energy for various things, such as summoning weapons and healing. Her weapon of choice is a revolver like gun. Though it's not uncommon for her to switch between a select few gun types.
Sky magicDue to being a skyglider, Castiel is blessed with sky magic. With it being a magic type exclusive to skygliders.
With sky magic, Castiel is able to create updrafts to use for gliding/flying. It also allows for her wings to become a more suitable size for proper flight. Skygliders often need the assistance of gemstones in order to use that particular aspect of sky magic, as it can take a decent amount of energy if used over long periods.
Castiel was born about four years after Delphi. Enjoying life as the youngest child for a meer two years before Lucas was born. Before she was even really old enough to grasp what it would mean for her, she was the middle child. But as it turned out, she was the one who was going to raise the most hell out of the three of them.
Since the beginning, Castiel always had an interest in the world below the High Roost. Despite the stories she was told of the cruelty of those who reigned below. She wanted nothing more than to see what was below the clouds. Something her mother expected her to grow out of.
Unfortunately, this desire just grew stronger and stronger as time went on. Especially as it became clear that the Blight siblings were going to one day be expected to take over running the High Roost. A job Castiel wanted nothing part of. As far as she was concerned, it would just become another thing that would chain her down.
As of late, Castiel has spent her time on any task that doesn't involve helping her older sister or mother. Whether it be helping people in town or wandering within the boundaries of the High Roost. Sometimes even going a bit beyond what is considered skyglider territory. She hopes one day she'll get the courage to leave. Or convince her family to willingly let her go.
- She has a secondary weapon of a halberd, as using her gun for long periods of time can be taxing.
- Due to being a skyglider, she is able to handle the cold + high altitudes very well.
- Since she has freckles, she is considered "star-kissed".
- Her scarf was given to her by Delphi.
- Wants to practice falconry someday.
Forever I'll be second in line
Despite how annoying Lucas can be at times, Castiel still cares about them deeply. She finds it easier to connect with them in comparison to Delphi and finds them a lot more willing to having some fun and bend some rules. She feels some responsibility to not encourage bad behavior too much, but sometimes she can't help but voice her opinion around them.
Castiel and Delphi have an alright relationship. Though Castiel would say that the other definetely mothers her more than their actual mother. Despite their only four year age difference Castiel could not feel more disconnected from her older sibling. Delphi being so quick and eager to take on what is expected of her and seemingly expecting Castiel to be the same. More than anything Castiel just wishes her older sibling would loosen up a bit.
