First year and semi-grade one sorcerer.  The most serious and quiet out of the Sendai Jujutsu High students.  However, she isn't shy and often leads the conversation, saying her part and speaking her mind.

Born to a Taiwanese father and Japanese mother, Mayumi was hidden from the Jujutsu world.  Their parents denied the existence of curses, with her mother going as far as to get Mayumi diagnosed with schizophrenia, despite the stigma that came with it.  However, once a special-grade curse attacked and killed her father, her mother revealed her cursed technique and status as a former semi-grade one sorcerer.

The attack attracted the attention of the sorcerer higher-ups, and Mayumi was taken from her mother to be raised by Kaishima Hayate, the recently-hired teacher at an experimental school, Sendai Jujutsu High.  What happened to her mother is unknown.  Mayumi now spends her time training under Kaishima with the other Sendai students.

Cursed Technique = Hand Sign Dance
Different hand signs infused with cursed energy make different attacks: Large cuts, claws, piercing, crushing, etc.  More powerful or numerous attacks cause rebounds that scar her hands. Their hands must be uncovered for abilities to work.
