His parents were butchers, being neglectful and abrasive to child Ksorujin.  After his parents were arrested and sentenced to the mines, Ksorujin was to be sent to an orphanage.  However, he ran away to the Asdeukes (OC ethnicity/species) capital of Keuskau and became a soldier.  With his lantern-based power stealing magic, he rose through the ranks.  Through a duel, he killed the king to become the new ruler of the Asdeukes.  After many wars, including a short war with the Saraphs (OC ethnicity/species), he met his one and only: Miseki.
