They'd be locals in the same town as https://toyhou.se/862931.ryo-zimmerman . Friends since they'd frequent the bar in the resturaunt he works at.

The bat guy would be called Lucan Ellis (subject to change). He's got no job and is usually wandering the streets until either of his friends are off, or will linger around their work place. He gets free beer from Ryo and is able to see movies for free and get free snacks by sneaking in the theater when Zeth's there, so he's satisfied being the only one in their friend group without a job. He's a very observant guy so when he's around town, he typically finds himself learning everyone's daily routine. There's been a bit of crime in the town and talks of a raid on the kingdom, so he's aware of when to get tf outta dodge before that raid comes true and their town gets destroyed bc the current king is a tyrant. He's keeping silent about it to keep the peace as long as he can. When he's got some alcohol in his system he loses his good boy filter and becomes more of a flirt than he already is. He swings both ways, so when he's drunk he'll flirt with Zeth and Ryo jokingly.. maybe not so much a joke to Ryo, though

The wolf guy would be called Zeth Driscoll (subject to change). A sly guy who works at the theater, usually stuck cleaning the bathrooms and the mess people leave. He ends up cutting his shifts short by sneaking off to the bar, yet somehow never gets fired. (Probably cause he uses his charm on the owner of the threater, she's a sucker for him) Usually Lucan's there waiting since he doesn't really have a job. Whenever they visit when the boss is out of town, Ryo will let them help out to pay for their alcohol; win-win for all. He's super interested in royalty and soon hears from Ryo that he has a friend who is kin to the king. With that knowledge he's constantly trying to get him to introduce them. It leads to a few problems between the friends, especially since Zeth is obtuse to how the king really is. Soon enough Ryo will introduce him to the friend, Klaus, and he'll learn about the King.

They'd be super neat characters to have, and that art of both of them by nagaasaurus really inspiered their personalities in my head ;v;
