He’s often watching those around him or listening to conversations even if he’s not taking part in them. He’s not nosy or a gossip per say, but he doesn't like to be surprised in social interactions and often tries to predict what people will do or say.

Ambitious

He often thinks highly of himself and the ideas he thinks of. Though he no longer has his creator with him, he strives to be as grand in his position as he can–whatever that may mean.

Dreamer

While most of his time consists of upholding a legacy placed upon him, he dreams of what could be past his mountains and Lotus Pier. This is often expressed in his daydreams, paintings, and poetry as he sometimes struggles to express his wanderlust to others.

Elegant and oftentimes seemingly stuck in deep thought, Kazuhiko is admired by many who live within Lotus Pier though he has a hard time noticing such affections towards him. He tries his best to connect with others but many times his long training days and late nights leaning over old scrolls make that a hard task to accomplish. His main goals are to uphold the clan name and legacy and to protect those who look to him for guidance or justice in their territory. Though this places pressure on him to be fair, he believes he does this job well and doesn't take kindly to those that go against his laws. Soft spoken but firm, he doesn't like to raise his voice to get his point across and is more likely to pull a blade then get in an argument–disagreements can easily be solved with a good duel of honor. He’s an avid defender of culture and traditions and tries his best to keep them alive within the pier as that is the foundation the previous Lord laid down.

Creation

Like many other lockettes, Kazuhiko was crafted by another, someone he knows only as Lord Sasaki. He was very carefully built as was Lotus Pier, the place he calls home. It seemed that whoever had crafted his shell had big plans for him that included looking over the territory he awoke in like a regal guard. Though his Sura filled his shell in the Heartlands, he doesn't recall what it was like there or where the Lockette mainland is located as he’s always been at the Clan Home since he awoke. The Lord left behind scrolls, books, and an estate full of servants all prepared to give a long and comfortable life to Kazuhiko. Many of the previous clan heads' teachings and scripture are precious to him now as they are his only true connection to who he is or why he was made. Though this troubles him as he wonders what kind of person the previous Lord could have been, he keeps the teachings close in hopes that one day the creator will return to the pier.

Current

A man of dedication, Kazuhiko is proud of his home and those who are within its mountain range.Though his days mostly consist of sword training and studying from the scrolls left by his creator, he does try his best to be social with those he guards. Many consider him a stern but gentle Prince of the pier and try their best to make sure he’s comfortable and that things are taken care of. Even with him being a living doll, those around him seem to be humans who have no problems serving under him and his laws. Few people who live outside of his lands have even heard of it but sometimes people stumble upon it or rumors of its untouched lands reach the ears of treasure hunters. He never takes kindly to these types of intrusions and fiercely protects the land in his care, often killing those who enter without permission if they refuse to leave.

• He has many foxes who free roam around the estate and the surrounding mountains. If they cause mischief or get into things he often has excuses for them and considers them to be quite wise animals. Each one is very special to him and he cna get a bit protective about strangers hand feeding them or trying to pick them up.
• His staff is summoned through the charm around his neck and is intended for combat. Even with this, he carries a regular katana on him at all times and uses it more often. He treasures his staff deeply and rather take good care of it.
• As proper as he is, he’s a hilarious drunk and tries his best to only drink socially as he knows he can get a bit bold when drunk. Some of his older closer friends tend to give him a bit more at events just to help him loosen up and have a bit more fun though he never complains about it later and secretly enjoys the chance to relax and blame the alcohol.
• Enjoys lounging about Lotus Pier in his down time, soaking in the peaceful air it has. This is when he finds himself deeply thinking the most, losing hours to the small details of blooming flowers and how the lake shimmers in the afternoon sun. He finds it calming and it makes him miss his creator less.
• He wasn’t always a painter and didn’t find the passion for it until many years after his creation. He was very impatient and short tempered at one point but his creator left him books and scrolls to read and learn from and now many are well worn from use.
