Essentially, this fellow would be a part of a team, however, he doesn't actively go out to battle or collect pokemon. He's the hatching type! He'd go for long runs carrying pokemon eggs, gotta hatch them all.

Story wise, as a child he strived to be a great trainer. However, getting older he formed a new dream: creating a Pokemon rehabilitation center. The theory behind this is he cares for caught pokemon that have been abused, abandoned, or suffered from qualities like being extremely timid and fearful of humans or aggressive towards them and helps them find trust and understand that not all humans are bad. Granted this often results in his own injury here and there, but it's worth it in the end if he can help a pokemon find their way to a healthy relationship with a good trainer.
